Girl band? How about:

Pat Benatar - vocals
Nancy Wilson - guitar/vocals
Rhonda Smith - bass
Sheila E. - drums

Ugh. Sorry, but if I have to take out Pat, then it had better be someone like Alicia Keys replacing her. Frankly, I think you underestimate Ms. Benatar....besides, it's my dream band.

I'm not picking on Susanna Hoffs; she's certainly prettier than Pat Benater. I just think Pat has one of the best voices in rock, that's all. Anne Wilson & Annie Lennox are damn good, too.

Anne Wilson for SURE. always loved that big voice, but lennox gets on my nerves, although she's got a great voice, i have never much cared for her, shall we say, "stylings". not sure why, she just bugs me.

Benatar is amazing. Get her box set and listen to her cover of Paying the Cost to Be the Boss.

Breathtaking.

Even tho I personally prefer Christine McVie's sultry vocals to Stevie Nicks--there's something to be said for Ms. "Rhiannon"...(btw, luci: some people do, and that's scary--almost as scary as Natalie Merchant's cover of Carry On...**gag**)

Natalie Merchant....<shudder>...Talk about a soulless singer. Her cover of Because the Night is dreadfull.

Ann Wilson's got a great set of pipes.

Anyone old enough to remember Suzi Quatro?

(Speaking of Patti Smith...)
I was madly in love with Suzi--so I don't even need to see her pix to know how hot she is--wasn't she on Happy Days once?

Yeah, Suzi was/is hot as Hell. She was Leather Tuscadero on Happy Days, and there was a huge poster of her in the booth on WKRP.
