Oh, it would definately have to be first chronicles Land, not second. Or even the Land back in the olden days with Berek or Damelon, in a time of peace under the Old Lords before the Desecration... 8)

Lothlorian and Rivendell would be soooooo cool, though!

And Amber, and its shadow cities in the air and under the sea...

The galaxy of Hyperion would be cool, too, to walk the Grand Concourse -- a huge shopping mall that gates you from world to world to world in an endless loop -- or sail on the River Tethys from one world to the next...
Love as thou wilt.

If I had to go as myself I would like to go to the Land in the early years of Kevin's reign. I gather it was a really nice place, and if I have understood it right there you wouldn't need some sort of mystical magic gene to wield the Earthpower, so I could learn the lore and become a useful member of the community that way. I've never been interesting in things like sheep farming.

If I did't have be myself I would like to be a princess of Amber.

I couldn't pick one place. Middle-Earth: Lothlorien, Rivendell, all those elvish songs and tales, The Shire, Hobbiton, spend a few days and nights laughing with the Halflings. Edoras, Minus Tirith, visit with King Elessar and his Queen. :)

Then on to The Land: Andelain, Revelstone, Revelwood...and most definately Coercri, spend long days and nights listening to Giantish tales. Would love to hear about Bahgoon the Unbearable. :)
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

...for then I could fly away and be at rest. Sweet rest, Mom. We all love and miss you.

Middle Earth would be my first choice. I'd like to recline on a bed of moss beneath a massive oak tree in the Shire after eating and drinking with a bunch of down to earth Hobbits.

If that's not possible, I wouldn't mind travelling to Melnibone to wield Elric's sword (Stormbringer??) and listen to it sing gleefully.

I'd also go to Amber, see mighty Kolvir, the Forest of Arden, and Castle Amber. That would be awesome. :)

Amber would blow me away. It always impressed me as being more magical than other fantasy landscapes. Zelazny somehow made it seem real, yet utterly fantastic at the same time.

I would definitely like to visit MiddleEarth.

Would also like to go to EarthSea - maybe Gont, or the Immanent Grove, or Havnor... :)

I can't decide between the Land (pre-Sunbane, of course) and Middle-Earth...And I'd also love to go to Lyra's world and meet my dæmon. I've wanted a dæmon ever since I first read TGC, at age 11 or so... :)

If I could go to just one place... Middle Earth and the Land are great choices but I'd have to pick the Restaurant at the End of the Universe. You get to see the massive destruction of existence! I guess if you've seen it once you've seen it a hundred times.
Edoras seems like a nice place or perhaps Isengard before Saurman's betrayal?

Visiting the Land would be interesting providing you didn’t arrive the moment Foul decides to lay waste the location you materialize to. I suppose you’d have the same difficulty in any of the worlds you might explore. There is some kind of evil antagonist waiting to screw up your visit just about anywhere. Kind of like when half the ship gets a sloppy, gurgling sickness while on a Caribbean cruise you’ve been planning your whole life. If you are all about action then I suppose you could dive right in but I caution that popping up unexpectedly into the path of a charging pack of Kresh wouldn’t be my first choice for fun and excitement :-)

You could pop up on Kevin's Watch, and just stand and observe everything unfolding below you.

Well, how about if you dropped in with an Armored Personnel Carrier like in "The Doomfarers of Coramonde”. Of course modern technology provides a host of interesting possibilities. How about carpet bombing Foul’s Creche with a B-52? I think dropping in on Kevin’s Watch would be just what Foul would expect. He seems to have an affinity for that particular location. You could safely survey the fun below from a Harrier Jump Jet hovering over the festivities. If you saw things were going badly for the Lords you could assist with some handy air to surface missiles. I could have so much fun with the idea.

Modern technology is too mundane. If you really want to get creative, then I say get a Romulan Bird of Prey, Constellation class starship, or Star Destroyer. Then pick your preferred fantasy retirement spot, load photon torpedoes, and weed out the pesky lilttle bastich that is trying to lay waste to said spot. Or, you could take a more "Hands On" approach. Get a few useful personal items like a Phaser, Lightsabre, Nega-bands, Cosmic Cube, the jawbone of an ass, etc. Then kick butt and retire a hero. I personally would hang out at Tom Bombadils' place for a while, maybe two. I like the Shire, but I don't want to be bumping my head on the ceiling all the time.

dAN you are the man! I wish I had thought of that. What a crossover! Jedi and Haruchai battling side by side against a limitless hoard of ur-viles and battle droids. Then in a battle that would threaten to rend the very fabric of space/time, Findail battles Star Trek’s “Q” with Lord Foul laying dibs on the winner. Oh yeah. :-) Hah!

I must confess, I'd like to see an ur-Vile wedge knocking several shades out of Jar Jar Binks. And Vader giving Whingey Linden what for

JarJar stumbled backward and fell heavily as the wedge advanced. The Loremaster swung his vitriol leaden scimtar above his head and slavered with glee. JarJar screeched in his thick Naboonan accent. “Meesa gonna get boo boo methinks!” The blade flashed and…

….BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!! A large form dropped into the midst of battle, sending Urvile, Haruchai, and Klingon alike sprawling in all directions. Like a green blur the manlike being swathed a path through the battling hordes, caring not whom he destroyed as he continued towards his ultimate goal. The Urviles were the first to recover their poise, and attempted to form a wedge with which to attack their unknown assailant. They broke like waves against the stone-like fists of this green-hued death. The Haruchai tried to surround the enemy, but he was more resourceful than they thought, more resourceful by far. He merely leapt straight in the air, and landed several miles away. Two more leaps and he was out of sight. Aragorn cried out “By what foul manner of being are we beset?” Then silence washed over the crowd as Captain Pickard spoke. “He was a very dear friend of mine, until something tragic happened. My crew were sent to study the polar regions of Ceti-Delta 12, for there were unusual amounts of Gamma radiation there. Most of the away team had radiation suits on, but he didn’t, as he has never needed one before. He was created to be immune to such things. Unfortunately, there were certain…modifications to him that were not quite as indestructible. One such modification, an “emotion” chip, began to malfunction. The chip seems to have gotten stuck on anger, he lost his normal composure, and the transformation occurred. Now, let’s leave this place quickly, for He’ll surely return soon and his anger will be greater than…” Pickard’s words were cut off by a loud boom in the distance. Then they all saw him, and were very much afraid. With the voice like thunder shattering a thousand cliffs at once, he cried out “PUNY HUMANS!!! DATA SMASH!!!!!!!”
