Now that would be a terrible nightmare -- to have adorable little creatures suddenly attack you! 8O :?
I've never raised a litter, just one at a time, but still say that they are adorable! :D

Navarino wrote:No, no. You've made a small but significant error there. A puppy singular is cute, but puppies plural are evil. I've raised about six or seven litters in my time and, believe me, they attack in swarms.
Do you raise puppies or Nazgul?

To be fair, they are pretty cute and harmless up until about four or five weeks. They have teeth like needles at that age though, and it's not really the eyes they go for. It tends to be a concerted attack on your shoes, and when you eventually fall it's the lips, ears and that little bit of webbing between your thumb and index finger.

I've looked after four litters of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, two of Labrador Retrievers and, most recently, Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Something like 56 puppies in total. The Staffs were probably the most aggressive, but then I did keep one of them and so get reminded of the pain each and every day.

my dad used to breed great danes .. and we kids would have to walk them each night after school!

even as pups these babies packed some punch! .. I remember walking one of the bitches near a tennis court and parklands .. when all of a sudden it court wind of a cat!! and off she went .. with me literally up-ended bitumen and turf-surfing behind her!! .. still attached to the lead!!

she must have dragged me about 400m .. before the lead ripped my arms off leaving me face down in the dirt!! 8O

that was the last time I wrapped that lead around my wrist for greater control .. I tell you!!!

My husband suggested Nigel.
We've just named our adorable little white kitten Felony. :)

Felony? My uncle has one of those!!

In fact, next time they catch him, he's going away for five years!

Ooooo, uh oh!

Actually I was just making up names...thinking along the lines of Elven names....Went from Tinnuvial, to Melian, to Feanor, to Felony. At first I just thought it was pretty, then I realized the dual entendre....

Imagine walking around the neighbourhood or park calling "Here Widdle, here Widdle come to mummy" or " Puke! Where are you Puke?!"
The men in white coats would come and take you away.

And Lord Skyweir, about your being the 'good cop', I would not have thought any differently. ;)
