Come to New Zealand? Well, I've always wanted to go to Middle Earth although I doubt I'll go snowboarding HOWEVER logistically/financially/and lots of other things ending with "ally", I don't think it would be workable for me at this moment in time <sigh>.
Besides, if it's an Oz Fest why are we going to New Zealand! You can all come down to my place...sleepy Victorian country town, 5 minutes walk from the beach, and I've got a garden big enough to house at least 20 tents! There, problem solved!
Seriously though, I would love to but I don't think it's going to happen (unless it was in Melbourne).

I have put off New Zealand, as I want to save more for the winter season (I have holidays then), but I may visit Melbourne or Tasmania end of February for a few days.

Ah, Trapper, a Canberra man! I lived in Canberra for 4 years, even "made it" for the Canberra fires (wacko!). But I'm back in Victoria now (where I grew up) living by the sea! No offence to Canberra, but it's a bit...um..."inland" for me!
We'll all eventually get a Fest happenin' (and I'm going to invite SRD and he better come or else I'll get really cross! ...not our fault that we live on the other side of the planet. I'm sure it's not too much to ask him to "drop on by"
) ...someday...maybe <sigh> Elfy is coming to Melbourne later this year (or did I just make that up??).

Sad news. It is becoming increasingly unlikely that I will be able to attend the April meeting. I am due to be promoted into another sector of the government, but my holidays that I have accrued will not be shifted over. Even if they were, I doubt my new job would find it acceptable (nor would I) that I take a month off so soon after starting.
As it is, I'm arranging a meeting with Elfgirl sometime by then, but even then that's just a weekend.

Poo bums! Ah well, there will be more news about the April Elohimfest in Melbourne - I gotta get the lowdown on our concert tour deets within a month or so (I HOPE!) so we can tee up! I hope to get info ASAP so those of you who CAN make it to Melbourne can book your flight/travel far enough ahead to get discounted fares!

Too bad Lore - it's probably gonna be totally crazy fun here...
OK GUYS AND GALS - LISTEN UP.
The date is Sunday April 22nd.
The place is Melbourne (probably Southbank in some ditzy cafe with all the latte-sucker set.) If anyone knows Melbourne better than me, please feel free to suggest a CBD meeting hole.
I will be staying at the Southbank Travelodge for the week I'm there for the concert tours, and staying on an extra day after the rest of them go home - I fly home on the Monday at midday.
SO...if y'all Aussies & Kiwis on KW interested in meeting me and Sea, send me a PM to RSVP!!
