my observation is that Giant Friend does not know the subtle differences between asking for help, and demanding to be catered to.

Well it's probably a valid point to have sig guidelines - I've seen some at some boards that were quite draconic but I'd like to think that we're self-regulating and if anybody has a problem with a certain sig then to mention it - or for the sig creator to think about the impact beforehand.

I'm not going to sit and police sigs - I've got far better things to do with my time Murrin has suggested a mod for sigs that enables users to disable viewing sigs so that may be an option.

Can we just ban the guy already? If he really is who we all know he is, he should go.

Its no surprise to me that Vain and Murrin are moderators, thanks guys, for the responses and interesting possibilities (ie Disabling). Its no surprise that I am not. What I notice in a site Ifirst visit is that there are always a few snotty sneery queens who have to vet newbies. Once hazed through some mild mockery, the newbie can carry on in any ol snotty tone along with the established. But boy did i raise some wigs! New guy come struttin in here...who do I think I am? Well, without saying that Vain or Murrin support my attitude, they at least thought MY ORIGINAL ISSUE HAD MERIT. They spelled out the realities and some possibilities and done is done. Meanwhile, a bunch of creeps like tentacles of the Sarangrave, who are nothing more or less than I here had to get their digs in. Fine. But your call that Im some sort of Raver....and Im laughing now...(christ give the Test Of Truth already) from the past and should be banished, without a whit of proof)is a call that I think merits consideration of banishment itself!
