Nav wrote:Does anyone remember the Rotten Trolls? The super power in that show was called Jim Jam Ya-Ha, I can't remember what it was supposed to do, but if a non-expert tried to use it, it did something completely random like partially dislodging the filling from a corned beef sandwich, or making a man in croydon fall of his bicycle.
Man... I remember that.

Office-Freethrow-- The ability the 'make it' into a wastebasket with a wadded up piece of paper every time.

Great for Office bets.

Commander Harris?! He was in Combat Sheep! That one-off thing no-one but me saw! :o

Anyway, on with the super powers:

--Pie Row Kinesis: The ability to impose uniformity of position on any given
collection of pastry products. The number of pies that may be arranged
increases as the practitioner gains proficiency.

--Necromincey: A sinister power that causes the dead to flounce and sashay
disturbingly.

--Ex-Ray Vision: The ability to experience voluntary hallucinations of Dan
Akroyd.

-- God Hates Me / Murphy’s Law: Anything bad that can happen to you will happen to you. Particularly useful in a group, where all attacks from super villains will navigate away from all other superheroes to you. The trick is, you can't be harmed, you will feel the pain though.

-- Spontaneous Combustion Man. I think that is self explanetory.

No no, don't apologise. Mallory is the forum where games and things go. Most things are fine in General Discussion, but if this is going to turn into a 50-page Daft Super Powers game, I'll have to move it to Mallory sooner or later. I'm just forewarning people who might want to keep posting in it.

Just curious. I know that most people read your post as a misspelling, but I know that this is plainly untrue.

With this super power that Verdego is articulating, a person could make the Thomas Covenant into a short novella. That is “the most original super power ever which no one has thought about.”

Think about how many novellas or even novels that could be extravagant, impressive trilogies or even trilogies of trilogies. Maybe this power has been used before…

My other favorite:

And in an effort to prevent people who are much better, wiser and more handsome than me from preserving this topic by placing it far away from my reach in that private sanctuary known as mallary, I will provide an example of derailing threads now.

What single books would make extravagant, impressive trilogies or even trilogies of trilogies?
