You and my younger son should get together someday.
I thought of something else I cannot stand - hazelnut flavoring. I hate the smell. I hate the taste. Blech.

I just don't see the point of eating things that don't taste
great. Eating is a pleasurbale experience. I like to keep it that way.

Interesting topic. I'm generally an unfussy eater. I like most of the food items that are on people's lists here. I do try to avoid beans, because they give me gas. I also don't drink milk because I'm lactose-intolerant.
A more snarky reply might be: I won't eat anything that's offered on Fear Factor.

Pickle juice.
My neighbor pushes pickles on everyone just so he can drink the juice out of the jar. I find this repulsive.

Have to dissagree with you there.
I love creamed corn.
and I love Coleslaw.
I don't knoe if I could ever eat Eel.
THis Korean guy I deliver to keeps trying to convince me to try it; he says it's delicious, but I have this thing about snakes and snake-like creatures...I don't think ever try it.

I initially read that as "Russians". Hmm. I won't eat Russians either.
I'll eat most things, but not mussels, radishes or squid.

The pickiest guy in the U.S. used to be a radio talk show host. Now he is an advocate for gay housing in California. Very interesting guy.
I am the second pickiest person in the U.S.
I will not eat:
Onions, mushrooms, red peppers, green peppers, jallapenos, pimentos, horseradish, anchoves, Italian sausage, tomatoes, sardines, squid, escargot, shrimp, most sea food, olives, Swiss cheese, pickles, mustard, relish, mayonaise, meatloaf, artichoke, coleslaw, hushpuppies, egg salad, cabbage, radishes, pistachios, walnuts, coconut (except in Mounds bars), poached eggs, scallops, indive, zuccini, bread with nuts in it, fruit cake, most casseroles, brussels sprouts, oysters, asparagus, eggplant, grapefruit, dark meat (of any kind), pickled beats, pig's feet, beef brains.
If I order a plain cheeseburger and they don't give it to me plain, I don't scrape off the other stuff. I just refuse to eat it! I can't take the risk of being infected by onions!!
I'm sure there's more. I just can't remember right now.

It's all true, Matrixman. Cross my heart and ask my parents.
What on that list makes you hungry? I'm curious!
Come over, and I'll make you an onion-beef brains-tomato-pickled pig's feet sandwich!
(Oh God, I suddenly don't feel so good...)

I think I'll pass on that sandwich, thanks.
Really, most of the items on your list sound appetizing to me, except for:
sardines, squid, escargot, and of course the beef brains and pig's feet.
However, I had no idea hushpuppies were a kind of food. I thought it was just a brand of footwear...

And I'll eat the sardines, calamari (squid), and escargot! As well as the other items MM will eat.
