If you like
Kiki's Delivery Service, try another Miyazaki film called
My Neighbor Totoro. Perfect for young kids, no violence, no sexual innuendo, very charming.

Promotes close family and neighborly ties.
Two young girls whose mother is in the hospital move out to the countryside with their father. The local nature spirits become their friends.
The animation is gorgeous, as you would expect with Miyazaki.

Yah, we have the schoolhouse rock DVD and have already played a bunch. There are some really catchy songs there. Of course, we skip over the ones that are US based (how a bill become law, etc.) as we are in a different country, but the memories flood back when I hear and see these bits.
Thanks dutchess for that other Miziaki suggestion. I wil definately check it out
