If you like Kiki's Delivery Service, try another Miyazaki film called My Neighbor Totoro. Perfect for young kids, no violence, no sexual innuendo, very charming. :) Promotes close family and neighborly ties. :)

Two young girls whose mother is in the hospital move out to the countryside with their father. The local nature spirits become their friends. :)

The animation is gorgeous, as you would expect with Miyazaki. 8)

 Yah, we have the schoolhouse rock DVD and have already played a bunch. There are some really catchy songs there. Of course, we skip over the ones that are US based (how a bill become law, etc.) as we are in a different country, but the memories flood back when I hear and see these bits.

Thanks dutchess for that other Miziaki suggestion. I wil definately check it out
