But, my request for clarification is, are you looking for something that makes SOAR'S Super Light Proton Cannon canon different from any other Super Light Proton Cannon? Or are you looking for the general description of what makes ANY Super Light Proton Canon so devastating? (Since your question asked about Soar specifically, I was assuming it was the former, but now it sounds like you mean the latter - maybe it slipped your mind that certain other vessels were so equipped?)

I meant any. I referred to Soar's because the name sorta provides a clue, doesn't it? So I tried to avoid using it.

Because the weapon is Faster than Light. By the time you realize it was fired, you are already fried. (Not to mention that being bombarded with protons tends to give one a certain glow anyway...)

THAT answer I knew from the beginning. As I said, the question made it appear that there was something unique about the one Soar had, and I was wracking my brain trying to figure out what it was.
