If anyone can get it in before the 19th, I'm sure they can get it in by he 19th. We'll stick with that.

Sounds good to me too, the next couple of weeks are going to be a bit nutty around here. So the extra time will be good.
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

...for then I could fly away and be at rest. Sweet rest, Mom. We all love and miss you.

Regarding the role playing in thread, with me potentially being out of touch the next four days, Serloth and I decided to wrap it up. I hope y'all enjoyed our expansion on our results, and really hope you don't mind the long post to close it out.

Again, it is my hope as interaction expands, that unless it includes secrets that need to be kept quiet, others follow suit during the gaps between turns. I love a story...

Tepes, thank you for your story in the Game thread. I was away and on dial-up access most of this past week, so please forgive my delay in responding.
While I am not pleased about the jist of the story, (;)) I am excited to see such appearing in thread, other than our reveals.

I'm wondering if I should quit before I embarrass myself even further. I haven't managed a single deadline so far, and half the time I forget about the game entirely (as I did yesterday, I haven't done my turn yet). Maybe my heart's just not in it.

If your heart's not in it, then your heart's not in it. No point in forcing it.

But if you just need to get the swing of it, you can have more time. I won't be done processing for another couple days. Since there's no interaction with you yet, it won't matter if you're the last one I do.

Thought about it a lot, and I'm still in for now. If the same thing happens next turn and I'm just not into it enough to even remember to do my turn, then I'll probably drop out. We'll have to see.

Cool! :D

Well, I guess it's a CH to say that two more deities' followers have made contact.

Oh cool!
Looking forward to seeing in thread role play regarding it, if the players choose to expand upon their results.

you're very welcome! I'm really enjoying the leisurely pace this game is letting me play in. I get to explore some neat idea's with a lot more suggestions and guidelines than specific details. And the turn writing is excellent. So thank YOU fist.

OK, a few things...

1) I've been sending each deity's results out as soon as I wrote them. From now on, as we're used to in Pantheon, I'll wait until all are done, and send them all at once. It's starting to take longer to process, so one person would have to sit on theirs for days waiting for others to get theirs. Plus, there's more interaction going on, which means I have to do them together.

2) There was a question from someone about population. Each turn, I tell you how many new followers you have, and the total. I'm not sure I always gave everybody their total, but I will from now on. My idea of having villages isn't working out quite the way I'd hoped. I'm not remotely surprised, since I haven't done this before, and there's lots of making it up as I go. Anyway, I am still telling you when a village becomes entirely yours, and some villages are growing beyond the initial 1,000 inhabitants. You can even tell your followers to make them increase the size of the city, and have some followers move there, or whatever it is you want to do. But the bottom line is that the number of followers is more important than how many villages you have. It's still 2 villages worth of people to get your 2nd DRP; 10 villages worth of people to get your 3rd DRP, etc.

3) I really don't know what to say in the Events thread. Nothing that would be "seen from above" happened. Plenty of action, for sure! I'm really loving seeing what you folks are up to! But nothing that's overly visible from the deific realm. Any suggestions? PM me if you want me to put anything you did in there. There's certainly some cool stuff, but I won't reveal it unless you want me to.

I certainly have no problems with you mentioning my followers...uh...chafing...during the long, dark season of Winter, SomeFather...

OK, the map will be up as soon as I can. Hopefully tomorrow.

Also, the new deadline is posted. Sunday, May 3rd. Unless I hear several cries for the 10th?
