I got the Blu-ray the day it came out. We've already watched it 3 times, including once w/the commentary track. I think it's *more* enjoyable at home, actually.

I thought my Trekkie days were in the past (I never could get into Enterprise), but I have seen this movie like three hundred times already, and I haven't even bought the DVD yet.
Saw it in the theater, loved it. Bought it on PPV and dubbed it. Watched it over and over again. I have rented the DVD from redbox like a zillion times.
(paraphrasing):
-I love you.
-Huh, that is so weird.
...
-Who?
-The mouth-breather under your bed!
-You can hear me breathing?
-What are you doing?
-Showing them some compassion. It might help make peace with the Romulans. It's logic, Spock. I thought you would like that.
-No. Not so much. Not this time.
Fun, funny, exciting, awesome. Loved the ship. Loved the actors. loved the look.
One critique: what the heck was up with the laissez faire attitude with
altering the timeline? And I am not talking about stepping on a butterfy's wings, I am talking about the DESTRUCTION of a PLANET. GENOCIDE. Sheesh.
