Just to clarify the above post:

There's a few points to this. One, if you're not using DSP, I want you to show me rather than tell me what you're doing (the god stuff is trickier, so I suppose I can do my job and handle that as long as you're ok leaving it up to me). If there's no details, no story, it all just becomes a ton of little facts I have to keep in my head. That's not good for you guys or for me.

Two, some of this runs the risk of getting into 24 territory. Sure, it's possible everything you said happens in a month, but probable? The Acropolis hasn't changed much in a couple centuries, so it's not very likely to change that drastically in a couple years (much less months). Not without some divine influence, anyway.

Finally, as some of you may have noticed, it's pretty easy to see what other gods are up to in such a small setting. That means that if another god has any reasonable expectancy of knowing what you're doing, I have to write something about it in their results. The more you say publicly, the less I have to write privately. And if there are a lot of things going on, you guys are going to be able to keep track of it and incorporate it better than I'll be able to by myself.

I was asked about what this means for keeping stuff private. As you may have gathered from what I just said, that's not easy. I mean, if it doesn't take DSP to do it, it certainly shouldn't take DSP for a god to see it. Using DSP to hide actions works pretty much the same here as it does Aesir or Eiran. Other than that, it's best to either keep your actions limited or write a good cover story.

Autarch, I had some rules clarification questions. For those things which require spending more than one DSP, do they all need to be spent in a single turn? Especially in these early turns when nobody has 3 DSP to spend at once, does that mean we can't create a second High Priest or temple?

Also, to promote a priest to a high priest, do we simply spend the 2 DSP difference, or spend all 3 DSP and promote a non-priest to high priest (mostly in terms of when we need to build a second temple, since a high priest dying just promotes up an existing priest).

You can put your divine goals on layaway, but there are no refunds, so to speak.

Spending two DSP is acceptable, so long as it's not some faceless priest.
