I pause in thought.

Then I gesture at Katrina again. And say something in Ignan. My hands move a lot while I talk. I talk for a long breath.

In response Kali extends her arms out wide then pulls her hands together, only to open them palm up. Her tone is explanatory.

I hold out one hand, palm out. I say something in Ignan

I hold out the other hand, palm out. I say something else.

As I finish my statement, the first hand's fire flares up.

Kali rolls her eyes and shrugs in a gesture of concession followed by a short statement.

I point at Katrina and say something.

Then I move that hand up and wave at the ceiling in a broad swipe.

Kalindriel laughs. Waving her hands in a no-no fashion she speaks at length before indicating Sorchat with a sweep of her hand.

Both of my flames flare up as I spread my hands to include the whole world.

Kali snorts and her tone is readily dismissive despite being in Ignan.

I put my hands at my side, and all of my flame dies down for a second.

Kali explains something by closing her hands at random points in front of her and then spreading them wide in a flash.

I flare my whole body up brighter, then I wave my hand dismissively.

Kali says something short, but intense while pointing at Sorchat.

[They continue talking for some time with a quick back-and-forth cadence.]

Marrik asks Trina, "Do you know anything of the layout of this place? We need to find the artifact anchoring the wards, to bring them down."

Thinking deeply then "Not really, I was just trying to follow the Bad Man. It's hard to do that inside. Until those Bad Men and the Bad Rock found me, I think I was going in the right direction."

Led points to the southern hallway, "Well, we came from down that way, and we didn't see anything." Then he waves at the northern hallway, "And you came from there, with those Bad elves chasing you. So it's probably not up there, unless you ran past it too fast to notice."

Then he turns to the western exit that curves off to the north. "So, shall we go that way?"

[Hey GM, let's get that list of loot done / published so we can get rolling again.]

"Or upstairs. If we take her at her word."

"Let's check west first, then. We can go north on the way back to make sure there is nothing important, the we head for the tower."

Led makes eye contact with Kalindriel, and holds it while he says cheerfully, "Oh, I'm sure a Good girl like 'Trina wouldn't lie to us. She knows the difference between Good people and bad people."

Kali's eye twitches. She seethes but holds her tongue.

Led smiles at Kalindriel's impotence, then exchanges the elvish adamantine sword with Marrik for his machete, and gestures with it towards the western exit and starts to walk. "Shall we?"

[GM, perhaps it's a little late at this point, but can we assume that someone's been keeping a map of the greater dungeon? If so, can we post it somewhere in the maps thread, and update it periodically? If you can get me started, and don't mind me pestering you for how long each hallway is, I'll maintain it while we're in here.]

I smile widely.

"Let's go Deal with the bad man before he does more bad things." And looks to Led's lead for a direction to go.
