This is "Slots" The Robot from the Omni Hotel Complex in Atlanta, Georgia! He is probably the biggest robot you will ever see! Slots was removed from a giant pinball amusement ride in 1983. Slots originated in the amusement park called: THE WORLD OF SID AND MARTY CROFT. The theme of the park was the popular H.R. Pufnstuff. Although the park was short lived in the mid 1970's, it was an amazing place to behold! SLOTS IS TEN FEET HIGH WITH A PUFNSTUFF SLOT MACHINE IN HIS BELLY. HE IS A SIGHT TO BEHOLD WITH HIS COLORFUL BEANIE CAP & LIGHTED PROPELLER! HE IS ARTICULATED WITH A TURNING KEY ON HIS BACK, A SPEAKER IN HIS STOMACH, A ROTATING ANTENNA AND OSCILATING EARS. MOST EXCITING ABOUT "SLOTS" IS THE TRIPLE SLOT MACHINE WHEELS ON THE FRONT AND BACK OF HIS BODY! THIS GREAT ROBOT IS MADE OF STEEL, FIBERGLASS & ALUMINUM. HE HAS A CONTROL CENTER TYPICAL OF THE 70'S ERA. HE IS ELECRONIC AND PNEUMATIC. AT PRESENT, HE IS OPERATED MANUALLY. DUE TO THE ARTICULATED MECHANISM AND WEIGHT OF THIS UNIT IT MUST BE DISASSEMBLED WITH THE BODY & CHASIS PARTS SHIPPED SEPARATELY. IT REQUIRES 2 PEOPLE 2 DAYS DISASEMBLE AND 2 DAYS TO REASSEMBLE. "SLOTS" IS PRICED AT $80,000 AND ESTIMATED SHIPPING COSTS ARE $5000.

Sarah Josepha Hale was born on October 24th, 1788 in Newport, New Hampshire to Revolutionary War Captain Gordon Buell and Martha Whittlesay Buell. Well educated in the classics, Sarah continued her private studies after her marriage in 1813 to David Hale, a lawyer and Freemason. Sarah was widowed in 1822 with five children to support, four under the age of seven. After a brief stint with a millinery shop, she published her first book of poems, The Genius of Oblivion, with David Hale's Freemason lodge paying for the publication. Her career was firmly established with her first novel, Northwood, released in 1827. That same year, she began her most remembered literary position - that of editress.

The J. Geils Band---Love Stinks

You love her
But she loves him
And he loves somebody else
You just can't win
And so it goes
Till the day you die
This thing they call love
It's gonna make you cry
I've had the blues
The reds and the pinks
One thing for sure

(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah

Two by two and side by side
Love's gonna find you yes it is
You just can't hide
You'll hear it call
Your heart will fall
Then love will fly
It's gonna soar
I don't care for any casanova thing
All I can say is
Love stinks

(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah

I've been through diamonds
I've been through minks
I've been through it all
Love stinks

(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah

Catahoula Leopard Dog (Louisiana)
Louisiana boasts one of the least familiar—and perhaps the strangest—state dogs. In 1979, it adopted the only breed native to Louisiana, the Catahoula Leopard dog.
If you think Catahoula dogs were produced by Louisiana’s French-speaking Cajuns, guess again.
Courtesy Louisiana Secretary of State
Spanish explorers who visited what is now Louisiana in the 1500s were accompanied by “war dogs.” These Spanish Mastiffs mated with dogs raised by Indians living in the Catahoula Lake region.
The result was a glassy-eyed dog with a spotted coat and webbed feet!
The Catahoula was named after a Parish in Northeastern Louisiana and after the mottled spots on its coat. (The short coat is colored in a merle or black/tan pattern.) It weighs 55-80 pounds, with males standing 22-26 inches high, females 20-24 inches.
This southern breed was once used to round up feral pigs and cattle—livestock that had escaped and found refuge in woods and swamps. That explains the nickname Catahoula Hog Dog! It is also said to be good at tracking raccoons, squirrels and deer.
The Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog is reserved with strangers but is affectionate with people it knows. However, it can be very noisy and physical when playing.
