Frankly, I think flatulent dolphins probably are gaseous anomolies, but that's just me.

The project that gave me a nervous breakdown last week is back on my desk due to the fact that the people who decided to put new procedures in place completely forgot that the new procedures were in place.

It's days like this that make me wish I hadn't said No to Drugs all those years ago.

What was their question? :)

Personally, I find the concept of people talking to drugs a bit... disturbing. ;)

Having said that... I'm sorry to hear you have utter morons dictating policy. That can't be a healthy environment. :(

 It was the usual..."Hey baby, what's your sign...Hey doll, come here often..." that sort of thing. :D

Thanks for the sympathy. Fortunately, it was nothing that the cheer of three pints on an empty stomach and some full-on girl talk couldn't cure. I can say No to Drugs, but I rarely turn down a beer. :D

Well, you look like the weekend helped, Myste. 8)

I didn't get everything done that I wanted to this weekend, but I ended up getting more done than I expected to. There's always next Sunday. (But not Saturday, because the Preakness runs next Saturday.)

The weekend definitely helped, Dragonlily. :D Thanks everyone!

Feel terrible. Nothing like flu and work combined to make a lousy couple of days.

I want to go to sleep. If I go to sleep, I will sleep through the alarm, wake up after 11 am and be very, very late for work. If I don't go to sleep, I will get to work on time but be unable to function.

I want to go to sleep. I want to get to work on time. What to do?

I'm feeling pretty darned good. This one coworker who does nothing but complain about every little thing you can imagine is on vacation for two whole blessed weeks. The rest of us feel like we are on vacation, too. 8) 8) 8) 8)

Sleep, Alynna. Definitely sleep. Av, feel better!!

I'm tired and hungry, both things which can be fixed fairly easily. Thank goodness.

I slept. I got to work after 1pm. Bummer. Sleep was joyous, though. :Z: Will do it more often.

Congrats, Lady Revel!

Get well soon, Av!

Enchilada... yum....

Lady Revel, glad to hear it. :)

And thanks all. Feeling slightly better, (if drugged to the gills), but at work again. Still, should be better in a day or two. Over the worst I think (hope).

Still feeling good, the best and most upbeat I've felt in months, in fact. :) I guess I hadn't realized how much that one co-worker gets to me until now, when I do not have to deal with her (and her constant complaints) for two weeks. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. :S :S :S Star Wars on Friday, weekend after I get a long weekend for the holiday and get to go spend it in a cabin in the mountains. Life is good to me right now. 8)
