ANYWAY....
We're about a week away from the Really Big DC Elohimthingie, and we haven't yet figured out:
a) where we're meeting Friday night;
b) what we're doing after dinner Saturday night.
(We also don't know what time we're meeting at Romeo's on Sunday, but that's kinda gonna be up to him.)
We can decide b) at a). But we *really* need to figure out a). Had we decided on the Clarendon Grill? I remembered that there's also the IMAX Jazz Cafe at the Smithsonian's Natural History Museum on Friday nights (www.mnh.si.edu/jazz/) -- if the band sucks, we can see "Wild Safari" or "Aliens of the Deep" in 3D instead (www.si.edu/imax/#johnson). There's a $10 cover charge for the Jazz Cafe unless you have an IMAX ticket stub. The last IMAX show starts at 7:35 and lasts about an hour -- leaving us time afterward for drinks (the cafe closes at 10).

I don't think that I will be able to make the Friday event....there is a bday gathering that evening for a good friend of mine. I will PM Alynna with my contact info so she can give me the low down Saturday morning.
