Beautiful pictures, Creator. I'd say that you're the world traveler amongst us.

Well, for me it was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of trip. . though I hope to repeat it one day. I found it life-altering, and definitely worth every penny (though I paid very little to go comparatively). I was a chaperone for a group of high school students, and as such got a very reduced rate on my trip. And the way I got to do such a thing is through my older brother, who is a high school chemistry teacher. Like I said, right place, right time.
I have to say, though. . I will return again someday, even if it takes me a decade to save enough money. I fell in love with Paris and Florence, and can no longer be satisfied with merely staying on my own continent for the rest of my days. I certainly have caught wanderlust. .
I cannot rest from travel. I will drink
life to the lees. . . .
I am a part of all that I have met;
Yet all experience is an arch wherethrough
Gleams that untraveled world whose margin fades
Forever and forever when I move.

Lovely autumn pics, Lyr!
Yeah...Creator, Aelyria, Lord Foul, Elfgirl...nice to have all these world travellers of the Watch telling us their tales, whether through pictures or stories.
Meanwhile, back in my own quaint corner of the world...uploaded another pic into the album:

Gorgeous picture, MM! And I love your corner of the world. . . it is a beautiful one with wonderful people in it. As I said before, I've spent 3 vacations there already, and I seriously think it is one of the finest cities in the world.
By the way, those pictures I posted were all taken at the city park. Yes. .
city park. That's what you get when you live in a small town with very generous benefactors. . . a huge city park with a lake in the middle of it!

Thanks all!
Re: avatar -- Mr. Ichabod Crane is sticking around for Halloween
Our main city park also owes its existence to generous benefactors, though a lake wasn't in the cards for us.
I feel every city ought to have a good-sized park or two. I think it's the only way for most urbanites to get in touch with nature, even if it's only on a superficial level. It's still better than nothing.
