I'm not questioning your ability to do as you say, I'm just questioning whether you would care about the (literal) fall-out of your plan. Undine
Perhaps water has clouded your eyes - and you missed my earlier post. Let me share my approach ... you will see that it risks Eiran not at all.
My DESTRUCTION is primal ... and basically GRAVITIC. In other worlds and other dimensions I could speak of Black Holes ... but here that reference might not be understood. Stated simply my DESTRUCTION rends matter and energy alike ... rips it apart into its most component parts ... call the parts quanta if you will. Understand that the rending is so complete the no nature, no intent, no original purpose of the object so destroyed can ever be diserned or impact any others then the quanta as a whole are aborbed and forever become part of the OMEGA ... they simply begin their ending EONS earlier than might otherwise have been the case.
Know also this ... I had asked earlier of the AllFather whether or not in absorbing the STAR I would absorb it's DRP strength (a logical question for the Pantheon to also ask) - in this I was informed that no such enhancement would accrue to me. You may ask your wife, Goddess of Knowledge to confirm this. Yes ... exercise of my Domain ... as does us all ... increases my strength. But the Pantheon will see no unexpected (or unwanted *chuckes*) increase in my power from the STAR's Destruction.

As you say, Undine, time is growing short. I recommend Simjen take the Star apart.
There has not yet been much discussion of my idea for safeguarding the world from the Mutagens and Diseases in Nor Pupae. Again, I propose this:
-We each give Simjen (edit

) a DRP to take down the Star.
-We each give Maeror a DRP to search for Diseases/Plagues after the Star falls.
-We each give me a DRP to study the Mutagens after the Star falls, and how they fit into the Natural life-cycles of Nor Pupae. (As Melirelle says, there could be catastrophic danger to the inhabitants if we simply destroy the Mutagens.)
Then, next turn:
-We each give Maeror a DRP to eradicate whatever needs eradicating, and/or give immunity to the rest of Eiran.
-We each give me a DRP to neutralize whatever Mutagens can be neutralized without harming the Natural flow of life in Nor Pupae, and set up a barrier around Nor Pupae that will neutralize any Mutagens that pass through it.

Brother...Bhakti...
It has been brought to my attention privately that some deities may be unaware (for whatever reason) that other than your domains of Love and Forests, you have also taken on the domain of Nature, long before I ever hatched I believe.
These deities were questioning my support of your proposal, until I drew their attention to this. They could not understand why the G-d of Love would tackle the mutagens. They now agree that Nature is the appropriate domain for the job. I hope this helps resolve this issue.

I understand better now why cousin Melirelle sees you fickle ... are you sure you are not affected by Mox's Madness.
All have not spoken yet ... I will discuss plans with them ... in private. Do as you will ... and reap the consequences of you lack of faith!

Affected by yours truly? It's awfully flattering Dear AK that you would believe Bhakti would have been so struck by me that he wished to be more like me. Granted though, I do have a rather infectious personality, so people gaining a slight touch of Madness is not too suprising. I am rather upset though. Bhakti didn't answer me on if I could give him a hug or not. Or if he liked the color pink! OR! ... If I could borrow some of his DRP to give those in the life of Love a little Luck.
::looks around::
Okay, so maybe I didn't ask him that last part... ::shrug::
Anyway, who can I banter with now, O-gon's been fun, the Wench ignored me.. ::Tears up:: and I arguing with AK might bring about the DESTRUCTION of my newly found prophet and we can't have that. ::Deep nod::

Astavyastataa Kadna, I am sure you are more than capable of Destroying the Star. However, while you will not be able to absorb the Star's DRP's to boost your own, I have no doubt you would gain at least 1, and likely 2, from an act of Destruction of the magnitude of this one. Since Simjen has volunteered, I prefer having him do it.
Come, let us be truthful. You were entirely willing to cooperate with most of us, and not attempt to harm us, as long as Yek was a threat. But you made it no secret that you would be, shall we say, less friendly when that particular threat was over. Well, it's over. Helping you grow in Power, knowing that you will use it against many of us, does not seem entirely logical.
MOX! My apologies. I have been largely away these last couple days, and missed some things that were said. On the Oath of the Allfather (for what that's worth in such a situation

), I was literally writing this when I saw your message above. Yes, you may hug me. A good, manly hug, of course.

Have no fears for Sanuta, Moxinomal. When he is brought to Zandarar by one of the Wings I have out searching for him, we will see if he is a carrier of this disease that killed his family, and will treat his needs accordingly.
He will be
well taken care of, once found. I give you my word.

FOOL!! ANY destruction of the STAR strengthens me. And when all observe the Mutation and horror revealed CHAOS will strengthen me further.
It is true that my nature is DESTRUCTION; but I can choose the time and place ... is it EONS hence, when my SISTER rests and OMEGA is ascendent? OR IS IT SOONER FOR SOME!! We will see cousin, we will see.

Ooooh dear, dear O-gon. There is no need to see if my little ol' prophet carries a disease. He has Luck on his side, so no harm will come to him! Though I fear that if he
does carry said disease that he might infect the one that you sent for him. You shouldn't be worrying about my little Sanuta. No no no no.
How about this instead, you don't bother with Little Sanuta and I give you my Patented Mox Hug. Bhakti can verify for you that I am 100% gentle about it. No harm will come your way, trust me. Maybe even Luck will smile upon you.

That is precisely the concern, Moxinomal. That Sanuta is a
carrier of this disease. If he is, once found, he
must be taken care of so that he does not spread it further. As I said above, once at Zandarar, he will be
well taken care of, by both the Healers of the weyr and others as the Healers see fit. I fear an epidemic if you allow him to wander freely. Or will his luck prevent an epidemic from happening? Hmm?

:::smiling:::
Many here in the Pantheon who have met me will tell you that I am always open to a hug. And I and my followers can use all the Luck we can get. But I can not promise to stop searching for, or not to "bother with Little Sanuta." The threat of a killing epidemic is too real to not take precautions. However, I will gladly take the hug, and the prospect of having Luck smile upon me, if there are no strings attached to it.
Fortunately, Raucous is not the jealous type. He does have Taleyah to occupy him after all.

Sadly my Dearest, I cannot oblidge by giving you my Patented Mox Hug if you insist on taking care of or ::ominous music:: taking care of my Little Sanuta. Though I can give you a nice and friendly normal hug, but that's running at one DRP on the Pantheon Black Market. And as you said earlier, you are already stretched pretty thin on the DRP department.
I can strike a wee bit of a bargin with you maybe, perhaps, kind of. If you call off the hunt for Little Sanuta, perhaps some Luck will be on your followers side in the disease area. Also, I don't know how well my dear friend AK will take it seeing dragons flying above his land. I dunno though, I suppose we will see.

tsk, a price for a hug? How sad...

I do not like dealing in "perhaps" or "maybes," Moxinomal. Tell me true, yay or nay if you know. Does Sanuta carry this disease, and is he spreading it wherever he goes? If you do not know, or can not say that he is not spreading this disease, then the
Search continues.
Moxinomal wrote:Also, I don't know how well my dear friend AK will take it seeing dragons flying above his land. I dunno though, I suppose we will see.
As of now, I have no fear of Astavyastataa Kadna's wrath whenever my Wings fly over his lands. They do it regularly for now, up to the borders of his land that was affected by Nor Yekith's mutation wave, to ensure the effects of the mutation has not spread further. I tend to mostly cooperate with my neighbors on Immeril, unless bound by another deity to not be forthcoming on certain matters. But I doubt Sanuta has made it across the hot desert sands of Scirocco already.

Hey now, just because I charge for my services does not make them undesirable. Oooh, now I sound like the Wench!
Fine. Fine! You want to know the truth? You want to know the truth!? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! ... No, he's not carrying it. Luck can do more than just stop the infection rate on ones body, like, stopping the infection from infecting at all... INFECT!!! Sorry, got a little carried away there with the whole infect thing. ::does a cartwheel::
Oh! Oh! Oh! AK told me to tell you to tell me to tell you that he said that Dragons taste of Chicken! Or they might taste of chicken... or they look like big, scaley chickens... It's a little fuzzy. But I know that he said he would be sure I found out. Little Sanuta can make it fine! With a dab of luck, he is sure to find his way, after all, just a dab will do ya! ::Cackling laughter::

Fine. I was happy with AK, but I am more interested in getting the star down. Since Simjen has the approval of so many, I will give him the DRP. I have seen his work, and know that it is good.
I agree to Bhakti's plan. Let those of you who have fewer DRP to spare contribute them to the undertaking that you feel serves the best interests of Erian. All aid is welcome and gratefully accepted. my own efforts will be divided evenly between each of them. *bows* I speak for the good of us all. *bows*

I never said they were undesirable. In fact, I predict you will soon entrance yourself of most of the feminine deities here, with your sense of humor. I expect those MOX hugs will be fought over.

Thank you brother. Now, was that so hard? I will allow "Little Sanuta" to go on his way. And he will be welcomed with all the honors due a prophet of a deity of the Pantheon should he come across any of my followers. But he is to not proselytize until he is out of my lands.
Moxinomal wrote:Oh! Oh! Oh! AK told me to tell you to tell me to tell you that he said that Dragons taste of Chicken! Or they might taste of chicken... or they look like big, scaley chickens... It's a little fuzzy. But I know that he said he would be sure I found out.
Astavyastataa Kadna and I have our own dealings, thank you very much. He said that to me
many Turns ago. I am not concerned about such for our own reasons.

So be it. The
Search is called off. But if the slightest hint of illness is to be found in my lands where he passed by, I will seek recompense from you, Moxinomal.
Again, welcome to the Pantheon of Eiran...brother.

Maybe you will find yourself fighting amongst them to recieve one of my complimentary free hugs as well, my Dearest.
Yes, it was hard. It practically tore my still-beating heart out of my chest and promptly tossed on to the ground while many people walked upon it. But in all entire seriousness... I cannot help it if your followers find a fancying towards me. You have my word that I will not be converting them with my powers, but if a few strays decided to join me, that tis folly on you I suppose.
Recompense, eh? Sounds to me like you have something more compelling on your mind than just my prophet.

Don't worry, I am sure there is... something... we can do to work things out if it comes down to the nitty gritty.

Distrust of you is not the issue brother. Merely one of maximising our effort and resources. As I said, If the majority believed you were a better candidate, I would be just as pleased to provide you with the wherewithall to perform the task.
As most seem to feel that Simjen is better suited, my contribution will go to him so that maximum effect may be achieved, rather than dilution.
