I hear Water Shield is ridiculous on Lana'thel. You can almost never go OOM.

Gunship is like that - stuff nibbles on my shield and keeps up a steady regen, but doesn't do enough damage that I need to heal myself much.

www.worldoflogs.com/reports/mxl9yuxzoycin9jl/

Last night's log, haven't had time to look through mcuh yet. Dunsparrow, I notice you switched Curse halfway through the lst Festergut pull, heh (I realised when Nevah's Earth and Moon suddenly started appearing halfway through).

Mainly looking at the third Festergut pull.

A lot less overheal on the Festergut fight, but people seemed to be taking a lot more damage. A few people missed Innoculated stacks on the second exhale - Majista died and missed two, then got one shot by exhale. Asta died at 2, and I for some reason didn't get a third stack (though Gorvan and the healers did, so it went off).

In future, we may need to think about delaying Rebirth until after an exhale if it's on a dps or the current tank is able to take the full 3-stack portion. But that will negatively affect dps, of course...

Main issue is getting our damage up. Having Tolgor instead of Kynbrodis and no Heroism made us worse off than usual.

Edit: Looks like our best attempt was the second pull - less deaths, and less spiky dps.

Edit2: First pull of Blood Princes, analysing logs to see why Asta lost aggro.

www.worldoflogs.com/reports/mxl9yuxzoyc ... 489&e=7558

Even with filters in, it's not showing me the full fight so I can't see deaths. But it looks like Asta was focusing his damage on the first attempt on Taldaram, the Prince who is inactive at the start, which is probably why dps focusing on Valanar pulled aggro. On the fourth pull he did damage pretty much evenly between the two, much better.

yes i switched curse. what i read in either elitist jerks or warlock den
is that you want to put doom on the boss at a certain lower health lvl.
maybe 25%. can't remember now, but i thought i'd give it a shot and see
if it did any damage.

i still have a lot of reading to do on the destro spec

oh crap. i forgot you said that elements cx's out the boomer thing.

Grizzly Bears: Now available in stacks. I opened a ticket when I hit one and it turned out to be six on top of each other. They're up to ten now, we'll see how bad it gets before someone looks into it. Apparently they are currently experiencing a high volume of petitions.

Yep, anything except warrior, shaman, and druid.

I really want to see the ICC 5-mans from the horde PoV. Don't know if I'll actually bother getting her to 80, she's 30 now and I don't work on her much. I should probably just go on YouTube or something, but I like having an 'escape' character who doesn't have any responsibilities, for when I have a bad day at work and don't want to inflict myself on you guys right away and such.

It's late and the more I type the less sense I make, so good night.

Got my Lifebloom overhealing down a bit. Regrowth is still high, but it's such a long duration spell that it's almost impossible to judge how much of it will be efficient.

Last night's log is up on World of Logs, but I don't have anything recorded after my first DC, so it stops after the second Rotface pull.

I hope Kell's reason for taking Siliskor and Stormbreak last night is better than "Asta's not good enough" (demonstrably untrue), because I'll probably have to cancel group two.

Kell told me that Aber will tank for you. I asked her before the run to make sure you have a great guild tank for your weekend run. And Aber seems to be naturarlly great at everything he tries.

And thank you very much for the vote of confidence! :)

Thanks for letting me know; I was worried, Aber usually says no to things like that, so I thought you and Sili were the only willing victims.

I should know better than to make assumptions.

I hope Aber's gear is good enough for the end bosses, or we'll be stalled at Plague wing for another week. Why'd she not take Asta? I had heard group one was melee heavy, and the option was to swap Stormbreak for Griever...

She didn't mention a reason to me ... perhaps she wanted to continue the rythym of Sili working with Dray. [I did arrange my return flight from China so that I should be available on the 12th for your run!]

I look forward to seeing posted here this weekend how much further you got with Aber! Perhaps the Princes will go down to you!! :D

Rhythm ;)

And I expect she'll be pushing for that herself tonight, and if we down it on Saturday it'll be because of her making them practice. (Or because of the 5% buff. There's always an excuse.)
