The AllFather wrote:Because of the enormous DRP cost and the vulnerability to deicide, most deities usually prefer to interact with the world - if they are needed - through the use of Aspects. An Aspect is not a partial manifestation as much as it is the god imbuing a mortal (usually the Prophet, but not always) with a fraction of its power. This entity becomes a mortal extension of the god's will and powers within the world, but it is still mortal, and thus it is subject to death. Additionally, doing so requires a constant expenditure ofDRPs without which the god would withdraw from this possession. As long as the god spend DRPs per turn (the amount depends on how powerful he wants the aspect to become - NOT on how powerful the aspect's host is to begin with), the deity treats the aspect as an extension of himself; he may choose to command it utterly or to leave it some measure of free will, so that the deity may basically choose whether to possess the person outright or to grant him some say in the matter or to make him or her a willing partecipant to a partnership in which they do the god's bidding willingly in exchange for using the power they are imbued with.
This is the rules thread, Av... ;)

*bows humbly*

AllFather...

It has come to my attention that you are not feeling 100%.
Please, while watching over Eiran is a responsibility I can not ever imagine, I advise you to step back on occasion and take care of you.

We...can...wait.
We may not enjoy it, but we can do it.

May the Healing power of Light infuse and uphold you...

*quietly retreats from the presence of the AllFather*
...for now...

Who's up for a little smiting of an inconsiderate flatmate?

Hey...I'm anxious as well.
But if he's not feeling well, I don't want to deal with whatever illness may prompt him to cause to happen...

Can you imagine our turns if Xar is fevered and a wee bit delirious? 8O

I'd rather not!

But the flatmate, his doll's had needles stuck in it! (Cast him out, Xar! You know you want to!)

My point exactly!!

...sounds like Stone and I are on the same wavelength anyway...

Hurry back, AllFather.
But...take care of you first.

Interesting. Two of the Lords of Eiran 'owe their existence' to Nor Yekith.

Do you say that because of which race they are associated with Lore? Or is there something else I am missing?

Well, one is a Yekith and the other is a Houka.

*nodding*

OK...the races then.
I don't see it as "owing their existance," merely that they are patrons of the races, such as Mellirelle was patron of the fiends and cho was patron of the dragons...

...two races that are gone as of this Age, along with the Fae...

...as far as we currently know...

*head bangs against desk* ;)

Hence why I placed inverted commas around the term. I did not literally mean it that way - just that Nor Yekith's contribution is possibly large.
