Massive Cataclysm Alpha leak on MMO-Champion today. Hundreds of screenshots of the changed zones, and some info on stats.

Holy crap, the new Stormwind is amazing.



The Cathedral has a graveyard, and a lake! The park is a gaping, black-charred chasm with the canal spilling over the wreckage into the sea!

Bottm centre of the image is the new Auction House, the bank has had a redesign too.

Best of all, it isn't full of great big f---ing holes! It'd be impossible to look down on the city like this the way it's currently built, it's all in pieces and floating in midair, you can't look from one section into another except through the tunnels.

Very cool.

Nah. Just need a play with the UI scale slider. (And maybe some unit frames, I always think the default ones have these tiny thin health bars that aren't much use.)

Meh. HealBot raid frames are all I need, and I intentionally set them to be large. I do have a ton of crap on my bars that I never use in raids and I could remove the right bars and half the bottom bars... but I'm used to them.

I am trying a simplified version with my horde druid, but she isn't high enough to raid.

I was thinknig more about the size of your action bars. Moving the UI scale down a couple notches would give you a lot more screen space by shrinking the bars.

Hmm... not something I'd ever really played with, but yeah, it does add a lot of screen space. Almost like getting a larger monitor. Heh, thanks.

I'm thinking of respeccing for LK. From what I've heard, one point in Imp. HoJ wil let me stun every Val'kyr, and while Divinity is pretty crap most of the time it's supposed to be worth it on such a hard fight.


Observed on our final pull, the Lich King definately turns and targets a player for Defile, and it has a cast time before it hits. We should be able to react.

Wanted to say thanks for all the sweat and hard work over the past few weeks to get us to #1 on the scryers and the lich king down! Unfortunately that isn't going to pay off other than to say we got the kill. We had asked ppl to not do 25s while we were progressing and then late crew came along and well they did anyway and we lost our ranking and title for 10ms.

We are now 10th on the realm and listed as killing the lich king in a 10 man with 25 man gear with ppl asking who we paid to drag us through you know since ppl are paying late crew to take them through...

I appreciate the dedication though I know that most of you stayed out of 25s and I know we did this as 10 man in 10 man gear the only person with 25 gear was vel on the warrior and he wasn't even there he was on the mage not even geared enough for lich king so..

We know we did it...I just wish it had paid off a little more and earned us that ranking since it was the reason I pushed you guys so hard

yeah. i saw when i went to guildox last night that we'd been ditched
from the strict 10 man progression list.

kinda pissed me off. i mean we did ASK people not to do 25s
till we got LK down but whenever i mentioned it people would
poo poo me and say we were fine and blah blah blah. so...yeah.

but what are ya gonna do? forbid them trying to get gear?
i mean it was bad enough that we didn't get LK before all the
damn buffs. that i could deal with but i really really wanted
the strict 10 man thing. i just wanted to see our guild name
there on the list.

so tell me...who exactly do we have to thank for kickin us from
strict 10 man? i can make their lives a living hell for
a while.

It takes 8 ppl to remove you from the list Irv from what I can tell we were removed the 25th 2 days b4 our kill had they not raided 25s this week we would have got it they went in Tue night though on reset
