Lost Season 3

Definitely more ammunition for that theory now.
I've gotta rewatch some earlier episodes to find out how long before the crash Hurley won the lottery. It seems it has to be Locke falling out of the window in Hurley's flashback (Numbers, I think), but, Locke was in a wheel chair for 4 years, which means Hurley had to win the lottery more than 4 years ago, and had to be in Talahasee at the same time Anthony tossed Locke out the window.
So, is the magic box fueled by the numbers, manipulating the laws of probablity?

I think that you might be wrong about Locke passing the window in the room Hurley was sitting in. This was a residence and that meeting was in an office, was it not? I though Hurley was in LA?sindatur wrote:Definitely more ammunition for that theory now.

Actually, I hope it doesn't turn out to be Locke in Hurley's FB, the facts don't add up.A Gunslinger wrote:I think that you might be wrong about Locke passing the window in the room Hurley was sitting in. Hurley Office Building, Anthony Cooper Residence type building
Hurley Office major skyline, seems much higher than 8 stories
Hurley FB person had more hair than Locke and positioned wrong in the fall.
Hurley LA guy, Locke Tustin guy
hurley I don't believe won the lottery long enough ago to have seen Locke's accident after he won the lottery.
I was merely saying from a story perspective and all the connections, it seems like that's where they're going with it, but, they will have to retrofit some facts from numbers.

So, that pretty much leaves out the posiibility that Anthony Cooper was the Smoke Monster.

Locke's Dad, bound at the end of his flashback episode. Some people thought Ben controlled Smokey and he may not really be Locke's dad, but a Smokey manifestation.A Gunslinger wrote:Anthony Cooper?sindatur wrote:So, that pretty much leaves out the posiibility that Anthony Cooper was the Smoke Monster.

I have some new questions. Like, if it is smoke, how does hiding inside a grove of bamboo help? And if a bunch of closely spaced trees holds it at bay, why build a zapatron fence when you can just plant bamboo?
BTW, leaving whatsername behind is obviously part of a master plan to plant someone in the survivors camp. Which means she's probably lying about the monster, too.
And where the #### did John go?

Ever since getting past the first 5 "lets beat up sawyer again tonight" episodes of this season, I think each night has been a really good show since. So far this season is turning out better than last.
And ya, whatsername is definitely a plant; I thought Sayid was going to shoot her for a sec. Lastly, why not move everyone to the villiage now?

Cowboy: Why you doin' this, Doc?
Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Cowboy: Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: ... I don't.

Clearly she is a plant of one sort or another...Sayid is NEVER, I repeat NEVER wrong, or so it seems.
Anthony Cooper = Locke's Dad....duh.
It seems that Locke is going with them so that he can deal with his Dad, or explore the island/protect his own secret(s).
It will be interesting to find out the orins of ol' Smoky. I am almost positive it is a remnant from the original denizens of the island.

I definitely agree about raiding the place, but, I'm not so sure moving in would be such a great idea. What's to say they won't be back shortly? Or don't have it rigged like the Flame was (not neccessarily lined with C-4, but, there are many ways to "poison the well")Kil Tyme wrote: Lastly, why not move everyone to the villiage now?
Actually wasn't that early this season in "Every man for himself" that we found out he had a daughter, and we met Cassidy last season in "The Long Con"?dANdeLION wrote:Uhh, no. We learned that in season 2 when we first met his ex-gf.A Gunslinger wrote:WOW. Lookit what we learned last night!

Good episode. I think Locke's away to open the ''box'' that was mentioned, and i think he'll be the one who gets some answers.
Seemed like smokey was taking pictures of Kate and Juliette.

Spoiler
I just have a suspicion that Locke's dad is not as helpless as he appeared. I think he is probably the leader of the Others. Not Ben. Just a guess, though, but I can't remember if it was said equivocally that Ben is indeed their leader. 2nd in command, maybe...

I doubt that. the present for John in the "box" has been dealt with already I do believe ...at least in some way. Did you notice y'all, that John's right hand had been bandaged when he spoke to Kate? I bet John gave the gift a bit of a beating.
Anyway, IMO, Hnry has been after John for a while. I believe him when he said last season that he had come FOR John. Henry does not have the immunity thatthe islan imparts to others like Locke, Sun, and Rose. He wants to cultivate this immunity somehow, and by bringing the "gift" to John, he has made a believer out of John...one willing to hang around an join up. Now henry can try to find out why John is linked to the island in the way that he himself ISN'T.
