Are you talking about Earthpower here? The Unfettered in the Uplands used none?

yesss yes...the light of Earthpower. If you recall, the Healer didn't have wraiths with her, but she had the "Gleams" of light. The Unfettered of the Upland didn't have either wraiths or gleams with him, but he had the music. He was the one I was looking for.
I hope this wasn't too confusing. I tried to come up with something that wasn't thought about alot. To "spark"..pardon the pun.. some more thoughts on the Earthpower itself.
