Doing my final work-related stuff before vacation in the evening whilst enjoying a glass (or 5) of wine. Playing Blacj Country Communion loudly in the background. Packing tomorrow.

I'm sitting at work, staring at the blue sky beyond the office window (the first in many many weeks) and wondering why I left 'The One Tree' at home... Seadreamer is dead and I've not long to go now before reaching the end of the book. (not for the first time, I hasten to add)
ahhh, well.....

That's one of my great fears and least favourite feelings Huryn, being somewhere without a book and wanting desperately to read it. These days I never go anywhere without one, even if I'm just popping up the road to come straight back, I put a book in the car in case the car breaks down or the Apocalypse begins. And when I'm going from upstairs to downstairs in my house, my book comes with me! (Certain psychologists would call this use of it a 'transitional object', but I don't need one of those; that's what my blankey and teddy bear are for

)
What am doing here? Building up the courage for yet another edit.

Glutton for punishment??
Catching up on e-mail, etc. Internet wouldn't work at home so I'm at school in the teacher's lounge, which is dissheveled and smells awfully of fresh oil paint.

I did see one, and the log truck crash/pileup scene was pretty spectacular. But the rest of the movie was too much like real life, only with gory deaths for all.
