Who's Hinchcliffe? Is that an early Producer before Verity Lambert?
I quite enjoyed Tennant's first season and saw every episode, but, then I didn't have a problem with Colin Baker's portrayal of the Dr either.
Edit: Nevermind, Producer from 1975-1977 (Tom Baker/Leela)
I guess Verity Lambert was the first Producer.

My kids started screaming with delight when they found out the next season starts on Scifi next Friday. They were practically dancing a jig. Nick likes him because he fought with a sword.

As an aside to the good Dr, john Barrowman was interviewed on the set of Torchwood on morning TV here today.
The next series will be coming to a screen near you (if you live in the UK), in January
*!&$ing January??????????????? That's NEXT YEAR for Gods sake.

That reminds me, I saw a promo for Torchwood on CBC just the other day. So, the show has at last come to Canada. Not that I'm overly eager to watch it, but I guess I should at least check it out just so the rest of you can't say I don't know what I'm missing.
Oh, and the new season of Dr. Who has begun airing here, too - i.e. the 2nd Tennant season. Or at least I assume it's the new season, seeing as he's got a new companion. I didn't catch her name, however. And I have to say, I miss Rose Tyler. A lot.

Ah, that would be the lovely Martha Jones - you'll grow to love her.
Just watched the last episode of Dr Who, and I won't spoil it for anyone, but it was brilliant, with a very funny twist in the tail at the end for Captain Jack.
And a surreal finish.

Just saw the 2nd episode of the 3rd new series.
Sorry to be superficial, but Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman) is my favourite companion ever. So, so hot.
Did I mention she's hot?
PS I've been enjoying "Life On Mars" recently as well, so apparently the
new Master will be a bit different to the old ones.

Waaaaah! Me want Rose back...

Rose's mum was hilarious (and possibly me in like 30 years.

)
Meh, slowly but surely I'm coming to love David Tennant as much as I did the lovely # 9.... (What to do with that "Number 9 Has My (Heart)" tshirt???)

Yeah, I miss Rose. As for her mom...well, she's a loving mom at least.
Come on people, let's all make a "David Tennant is the Greatest" T-shirt and send it as a gift to Loremaster!
I'm afraid my own Dr. Who viewing has been erratic. Caught the Dalek episode, but I've missed several, too. Sigh. Monday nights just aren't TV nights for me.

Billie Piper's portrayal of Rose was superb, but I think the character is overrated. She was like an Eastenders character -'Yew say one wowd agaynst moi faaaahmly...'
Rose Tyler was such a chav. How dare the new team of writers have the good Doctor fall for a chav. Tsk.
Now Martha, she's
class.

David Tennet has a myspace page. I stumbled across it last night. The kids had to send him messages. I hope he ends up responding. I also invited him to my friends.

Isn't Chav an abbreviation that means they live off and abuse the benefits system, rather than a specific way of dressing or speaking, that just so happens to be common amongst those benefits abusers?

Martha Jones is all right, but I'm not feelin' the love. Still miss Rose.
Anyway, the last couple of episodes were interesting, if a bit preposterous - but then, we're talking Dr. Who here.
This is the multi-part story about the Doctor taking drastic measures to hide away from aliens who apparently are able to "sniff" him out, and who are after his lifeforce in order to become immortal, or something like that. Seems it was a 3-part episode but I missed the first one. However, the CBC has past episodes available for viewing online, so I can catch up on the Doctor.
Past episodes can be seen here, if anyone's interested:

That's not Tennant. The BBC or a fan runs the site, not Tennant.

Thank you, MM!!
Between this and FBH episodes online, I foresee many days trekking the laptop to the library for higher speed access in my future.

The New Doctor Who is alright but not great. The best episode of the new series was the one with the Weeping Angles. I liked that one.

Psssh. Final Two episodes of Season Two. Or the final episode, two parter.

The Weeping Angels episode ("Blink") just aired this week. I enjoyed it very much. It was a nice change from the "usual" Doctor adventures.
I think Tennant is a terrific Doctor. He's made the character his own.
