Another hot one 29C and windy .. bleh

Yesterday was supposed to be '100% precipitation w/thunderstorms'. Yesterday was cold but sunny. Today the air smelled and felt like oncoming rain, but by the time I left work, cold and sunny again.

April showers and May flowers and all that. It does usually rain here in April.

Nothing seems usual this year

This week was all fire danger through inordinate 35+c heat coupled with nasty winds.\
Today we wont break 19c and the wind is cool. Likely down to 7 overnight.
Almost fireplace weather.

Under the umbrella at the momemt. It just started bucketing!
Drizabone weather here now. But gee whiz don't we ever need the rain! My tanks will be full in an hour at this rate.
Then when we have a moment, I will pretend to check my watch and with a deep exhale say "Its Friday, I think I might go down for a quiet pint of Little Bang. You wanna come?"

But hopefully you will get a crowd and a half knocking off early for a trip to the pub

Nice end to the week

I've been sweating since I woke up at five. Went for a nice run before the sun got really hot. Still sweating at seven thirty pm, the sun went down an hour ago. Drizzled for a few hours in the afternoon, so humidity.

Still, I love the endless summer weather in Nigeria!

I dont envy you though

16C today .. and wind again today .. violent winds already Brough a large lavender bell tree at the front of the house .. which took most of the day clearing .. and a large branch blocked the drive. But hubby spent his time sawing and me dragging away pieces. I hate the winds here .. they always cause sooooo much damage and I love my trees

Cool and mild for the most part. Forecast today is for max 20C.

The wind has finally abated and temps dropped .. and somewhere in that god awful weekend .. I got a sore throat and head cold .. hate being sick

16C here today .. still sunny which is nice.

Yeah sucks but I never stay crook long .. Ill shake it this week .. I found if I push on with it, I feel worse .. so am resting between bursts lol

Yesterday I slept during the day .. which I usually can never do .. was tired all day. Done a few more things today ..

We have our foster kiddos tomorrow so am hoping Ill be a lot more energised .. lol

Such a lovely day today too .. top of 18C .. suns out .. theres so much I could do .. but am just tired atm

We had April snow, but today warmed up, and was pleasant.
I met up with a friend for a little walk in the woods!

We had three, but now only two .. 11, 8 and 6 .. the eleldest has moved to Queensland to live with her Aunty .. after a suicide attempt.

Theyre great kids but share a dis functional upbringing and home.
