KevinsWatch Camp is just a joke in a couple of people's sigs.

Elohimfest is the name given to a couple of real-life gatherings there have been of Watch members; there have been a few gatherings, but two big Elohimfests, in 2004 and 2007, when the Watchers attending were joined by Donaldson himself. You're best off reading the Elohimfest threads in General SRD Discussion to find out more about those, or asking the people involved. There are pictures in the album, and somewhere there are links to videos of Donaldson answering questions at the events.

Below my avatar it says I'm a Stonedownor. Did I make enough posts to move up from servant of the land? Is that something I can change, or is that a function of the WGD?

You can change it. Click on profile, above, and change your "custom rank" - it's right under your user name.

Indeed. The current setup allows you to change your title once you have made 5 posts.
(A long long time ago, you had to buy name-changing and title privileges from the Shop.)

There's no bank anymore, went under in the great White Gold Crash of '05. But the interest rate when it existed was a parsimonious 0.2% :LOLS:

Yes, Blackhawk, I'm afraid the days of easy money at KW are long gone. The old system was wiped out by The Ritual of Devaluation. :P

(I agree, that 0.2% rate was rather pitiful.)

Hey ! An interest rate of .2% per day is quite a lot !! :P

quite often I'm getting html code on parts of the KW site (it's just in random places). Am I the only one this happens to?

No, Sea. I've seen the same thing over the last week or so. I reload, and then it works okay. I thought it was just my computer, though.

Yeah, I reload and everything is aok but it seems to be happening more frequently now.

It's the search engines causing it and overloading things a tad - I'll monitor things to see how things progress

I thought it was just me, as well.

It's doing the same here.

I also thought it was just happening to me. I'm glad there's some sort of reason why it's happening, maybe it can be prevented?

I'll have a look over the weekend - maybe I messed something up. It happens to me but infrequently. next time it happens, i'll record what it looks like and it may help me to hunt the bug down

well, if it makes you feel better, it wasn't happening to me at all...

And if it makes you feel worse again, it's been happening to me too. Not loads; probably once a day.
