yes, The Esmer "esmerized" that, he was referring to
YOUR "blinding flashy thing"!

(I really do like it alot, and it
is quite brilliant!)
CovenantJr wrote:Not necessarily. My copy of Daughter of Regals doesn't contain Gilden-Fire. A shame, since that's the main reason I bought it.
DOH!

The Esmer wil have to be veeeery careful "procuring" said "daughter" heh.

Yeah, My copy doesn't have it either unfortunately.
To re-derail this topic, Sunbaneglasses mentioned something I really love, for all that he pollutes it's perfection: Amaretto. Almond liquer. Aaah... beautiful.

Can you drink that nauseatingly sweet, pallet-glazing, synthetic, cyanide smelling ooze Avatar?
That is probably close to the most disgusting liquor I have ever tasted; closely rivaled by a locally produced gin from the Spanish island of Mallorca called "Tunnel".

Aah, yes, I do love it. It's not nearly as sweet as Frangelico, a hazelnut liquer. It's a sipping liquer, best with coffee on the side.
If we're still talking about alcohol, I strongly, strongly recommend Luxardo, a marichino cherry liquer made in Italy if you can find it. Fiery stuff, but great.

Amaretto could beat up your "appleton estate" any day, even if it brought its friends along for support! It comes in a square bottle! Square!

I've heard that some printings of DoR do not have GF. I don't think the one I originally bought, so many years ago, does. (Alas, I can't find it.

)But the one that came out in the last year does. Or at least the USA printing does.

Gilden Fire. It is in my copy of
DoR.

I just bought the stand-alone book from Ebay. Does the version in DoR have the illustrations?

Doubt it, but can't say...not having it in my DoR...

I'll have to look at it again...but IIRC, there is one illustration before it starts, and that is all.
Hey Av---get permission from SRD (or whoever owns the copyright) and I'll type the whole thing into a file for public view/download. (Isn't it going out of print next year?)

Now that would be nice...

Sure....but it would take me three years to type it all! So you could expect it just after
Fatal Revenant.

Very funny Esmer! LMAO!
I "see that he means"
scan it.
I do not own a scanner.

The twenty-dollar cost is prohibitive.

Why not just ask him for permission to download it?
