Do you believe every rumour that passes among the mortals? The blame for the murders lies at the feet of Astavyastataa, who even in his greatest efforts at stealth is so lacking in subtlety as to make those efforts entirely worthless.Stonemaybe wrote:And why, can I ask, are you killing your own followers?
Say what? I didn’t even do anything (other than to keep pestering in the Comments thread)! Can I now change my title? The AllFather wrote: You begin to be worshiped as the G-ddess of Dragons.
Yes!! Praise be the AllFather! The Game Statistics wrote: O-gon-cho, Mistress of Air, Dragons, Light and Music
Holy symbol: A dragon's egg containing a fiery cosmos that also is a draconic embryo.
Divine Rank: 3
Ah…my people. That a cousin of my own should do such. The AllFather wrote: A rogue dragon of a species never seen before, and far larger than even the golden queens, has come to Immeril from the west, and is laying waste to the small villages of the desert near Zandarar, killing many.
Yes, that was an oversight. I'll correct it.Jove wrote:Allfather,
I don't mean to quibble but Adomorn has fewer followers than I do and yet he is level 6 whereas I am still level 5.
Same with Melirelle - fewer worshipers but higher level. Should I not now be level 6?
Who? ME!!!Xar wrote: ..... Because he has attacked another deity's important followers, Astavyastataa Kadna's invulnerability is also voided.
I was thinking about your spreadsheet today, Murrin. I wish I would have kept one so that I could track what is going on. So often I forget little things that I should be attending to.Been updating my spreadsheet: Ouch. First time I've been lower than third place.
Prove to me god of death that MY followers spread death in your lands under my orders. Surely you would have posted the evidence so far!!Murrin wrote:Do you believe every rumour that passes among the mortals? Oh geez, AllFather. Thanks...Xar wrote: Incidentally - I would like to mention that this turn, O-gon-cho's invulnerability is ended, as this is her fifth turn.
Proof? Simply the obvious chain of events: Your followers appear in my lands, spreading trouble, but not hiding their allegiance. You learn of this, and swear they will be more hidden in the future. The next turn, the same chaos is spreading, but they are no longer declaring themselves. And a series of murders carried out by those who can do what you have freely admitted your chosen followers can do? The conclusion is self-explanatory.Astavyastataa Kadna wrote:Prove to me god of death that MY followers spread death in your lands under my orders. ... or is it TRUE, god of death ... that you return to your old ways!! Killing your followers!!! Even Malice would not be so vile!! Shame on you!!

And there is of course the fact that the ones you sent to kill my prophet called out your name as they died.
Could you maybe move this discussion to the game thread, if it is being carried on by the characters?Murrin wrote:Proof? Obviously, Nor's declaration of war has broken the law, so now he is in open violation, which in turn means that any god who wishes to strike at him can do so without fear of reprisal. For the same reason, Maeror could claim that Astavyastataa Kadna has likewise broken the Law (although what could one expect from the god of chaos?) and an attack on him would be then accepted.Lord Adomorn wrote:Alright Xar I want a call.
So I can understand having a system of checks and balances on my character, for being the god of Justic and all, and stopping me from attacking Nor first from "lack of evidence, breaking the Law" yada, yada, yada.
But I want to know if there is LIKEWISE an equal amount of checks and balances against an attack from Nor, or ANY balance at all.
I mean, I thought that all my previous reasons were validated in attacking, but you didn't so I didn't attack last turn.
However it seems unfair that now that I was proved right, it is too late for me win. Let's face it, I WILL loose in a toe-to-toe with Nor.
