This is turning into a really stinky week. The midnight person at work is out, and I have to help cover her shifts and workload, in addition to my regular work and hours.
However, my son is now done with his AP tests.
And -- the person whose life I supposedly saved in April is now awake and alert for the first time since he nearly died in the OR last month.
He's still in the ICU and really sick, but I had to smile when I poked my head in his room this afternoon and saw his eyes open for the first time.
Helps me feel that I've done something right lately.
However, my son is now done with his AP tests.
