Pop up the dungeon finder, hit join queue, and be prepared for pain. Those instances in the mid-fifties will tear any group with less than half a brain apart, and a person with half a brain in your group is rare.
OTOH: If you're good at your job, and you do enough of them, you'll find others good at their job, and finding groups without having to join a large/very active guild easier. Heh...and I have to say, running a bunch of bad pug groups actually made me a better player faster.

In the days of random cross-server dungeon groups, you'll meet a good player once and never see them again.

Btw, I'm still waiting for some screenshots of the Putricide wipe.

I was too busy laughing to take a screenshot. Probably be easier to screenshot a defile wipe on the LK and photoshop it green.

Where do think I have been? Now that know there is a WOW thread here, may become less scarce......the Blizz forums suck!

I think I may just take you up on that......actually got a couple of babies on Scryers......in the meantime, I have a level 80 lock that I am trying to accomplish multiple things on before Cat comes out and that is about all I am focusing on.

Promise, promise, promise to get back to you later.
OH WOOT!!! :D awesomesauce!!! yes do come play with us when you can. i understand about getting your 80 accomplishments before Cat. i've lvl'd a mage and i'd like to get her decently geared, plus get my Lock's gear finished before then too. i'm thinking, since i hate and despise watching my stiff little lock run (humans. bah. not why i play wow if you know what i mean) that she is the one i will take worgen when Cat come.
both my main (irvea) and my mage are draenai. i'm really enjoying the mage. way more fun than the lock if you ask me.
my dk is not really a playing toon, just use her mainly for jc'ing and mining. but i should probably quest her a bit more and get some more jc patterns that i missed when i was power leveling the jc stuff before Cat comes as well cause i will want to lvl her to 85. so yeah...i'll have 4 toons to lvl to 85 i think. thats plenty.

When you belonged to no one
you didn't stand a chance, son...
I made myself a note.....Irvea.......will add her to friends list next time I am on Scryers. BOLO for Deelilah, gnome lock, lvl 13, 14? Somethin' like that!

Ah, my human lock, Lycar (the mage, too)......yes, we run like we really need the bathroom quick, have the dorky white girl dance and the cheesiest laugh in the game.....someone at Blizz must have a poor opinion of women....

Just spent the week in Tampa......when you are going down the interstate in Georgia and get behind a little old lady doing 50 in the fast lane and you and your husband are both saying, "L2D n00b"......you know you spend tooooooo much time on WOW. 8)

Level 30 - WOOHOO! :S

I need to do an instance though. Sorus, how's your low-level char doing?

This just in: In Cataclysm talent trees will be reduced to 31-point depth (vanilla WoW level!), with point gains as you level reduced accordingly (around 1 per 2 levels, 41 at level 85).

forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=25626290449&sid=1
To Recap

When players reach level 10, they are presented with basic information on the three specializations within their class and are asked to choose one. Then they spend their talent point. The other trees darken and are unavailable until 31 points are spent in the chosen tree. The character is awarded an active ability, and one or more passive bonuses unique to the tree they've chosen. As they gain levels, they'll alternate between receiving a talent point and gaining new skills. They'll have a 31-point tree to work down, with each talent being more integral and exciting than they have been in the past. Once they spend their 31'st point in the final talent (at level 70), the other trees open up and become available to allocate points into from then on. As characters move into the level 78+ areas in Cataclysm, they'll begin seeing items with a new stat, Mastery. Once they learn the Mastery skill from their class trainer they'll receive bonuses from the stat based on the tree they've specialized in.

We understand that these are significant changes and we still have details to solidify. We feel, however, that these changes better fulfill our original class design goals for Cataclysm, and we're confident that they will make for a better gameplay experience. Your constructive feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

Wow. That's unexpected, and not sure how I feel about the change. :?

My low-level character is... uh... sitting in an inn having a crisis over what I named her. Maybe I'll learn one of these days. (Probably not.)

So, I will probably restart the character sometime this weekend. In the meantime, I would be happy to run you through some dungeons.

And grats on 30!

Heh, so I started a Tauren Hunter. And was surprised at how pleasantly easy it is to level a hunter. I got to 10 and started looking for pets. Having never played Horde before, I stumbled around a bit and tamed a bird... thing.

ANYWAY... while fighting, I aggroed a rare spawn called The Rake... he was so pretty! And I accidentally killed him. :( Didn't know my own strength. /flex

So I sat there for an hour waiting for him to respawn and tamed him. Woot for spending ridiculous amounts of time waiting on a respawn!

So what did you call her then?

Ooer, I do have some quests in Gnomeregan and Blackfathom. I may take you up on that offer.

Thanks. :-)

Grats!

Speaking as a pet-obsessed hunter... I've... spent more than an hour camping spawn points. It's worth it.

Hmm. ..that sounds like "hunter-speak" for "I've been flying around
(*&^ Sholazar for a ()*&)(^*(& week and (*%)*&^ spirit beast STILL hasn't spawned!"

Sorus has a pic somewhere many pages back celebrating that particular achievement, I believe.

Oh, and I think the proposed changes sound cool, even though I laughed at "trimming the fat off the tree."
