I feel your pain, Fist. I have my moves planned out, and I already finished the rough draft of my contest entry.

I cant decide guys, perhaps you can help me?

I can;

A) Smash annoying god number one

B) Destroy annoying god number two

C) Defile scheming god number three

D) Obliterate the scheming god number four

E) spend more DRP on getting more followers.

Or I could just do the fun option of destroying more forest just to piss zeph off :P

I am Harvard bound!

I start an Advanced Management Program at Harvard next Monday. The program ends May 23rd.

www.exed.hbs.edu/programs/amp/

I am excited about the opportunity, but have been told the experience is intense! I still expect to be able to particiate in Pantheon but I do not expect to do much if any daytime posting! So if I am slow to respond (I know - left myself open on that one! ;) ) - please make allowances!!

*scanning map for 'Harvard'*

Sounds like something in one of Void's cities?

Hmm. Interesting. Did Xar know about this?

He is fully aware of the Eclipse and of the members.

He had fully open access to the discussion concerning that post too. Weather he chose to view it or not is another matter.

As for the stones, they are just game fluff, a way to present the message, Of no use in game terms.

It is also interesting that when I asked if another Court could be founded he said no. Letting someone now do so ... and produce an inter-Turn event is ... of concern

It isn't another court. If it was, Eztlicoatl and, I dare say, The Void would have no interest in joining. It's an alliance, pure and simple.

And, yes, Xar does know - he has access to all of our discussions.

As for an inter-turn event...what was that? If you mean the stone carvings, that's just a piece of colour Dorian added to his description. No game effect at all.

An announcement of an alliance is known to deities alone.

The appearance of blocks in every city world-wide is a Turn event that 'impacts' the perceptions of all mortals. It is not a piece of color. Doing so without DRP expense and inter-turn ... hmmmm ...

Yeha not a court

its why i made references to the courts being bound together in weakness and strength. if one of you grows weak it effects all of you, where as an alliance, cross aligned and non aligned deities, not effected as such

and again, not an event, just the alliance coming out of the closet :P

No DRP simply means it has no effect in game. sure, in the story everyone knows about the stones, but in the games, makes no difference. mortal dont act any different, we dont suddenly get followers or nothing. its all background colour

Xar knows this, so wont treat it differently

I expect to get no in-game benefit from that at all. Every time I 'speak' as Eztlicoatl in PMs, I almost always do so through some kind of minor manifestation (such as a man bitten by a snake raves in another tongue; or the sun burns words upon a wall etc etc). If Xar thinks the carvings warrant DRP expenditure, we can do one of two things - spend DRP, or simply edit the description.

What is important here is the message itself, not the medium.

I will admit, that I did post in error to an extent.

Murrin has reminded me that Xar is out of town at the moment. I would have much rather have posted when he was in town just for this very reason, but my memory is as weak as a 1 drp god so I screwed up.

but dont fret! the stones arent bombs or nothing like that :P

A message delivered to every mortal on Eiran would require an exertion of DRP power. You might want to check with Xar how much.

I must say, when I first read that bit I wondered if someone had been reading my stuff from P2. :P
