Sorry, Eric, but that is funny!!!!2)the post was supposed to go into the story forum, so my bad. It has no real effect on the World At Large, it's just fluff. Make-Zephyr-Crap-His-Pants-Fluff.
lord, yes. I've been dying to argue it up with someone.Calais wrote:Well, I for one, appreciate the postings and the good discussion. Our game thread has been sorely quiet throughout this game and I like to see all the posts. This makes the game more fun!

However, those of you in P2 remember that Xar uses EVERYTHING posted to factor into game events. Contest entries; game stories; game thread; and submitted turns ALL impact gameplay. Sometimes even comment chat! So ... my advice ... edit the 'colour' out - or be prepared to spend DRP.Dorian wrote:As for the stones, they are just game fluff, a way to present the message, Of no use in game terms.Montresor wrote:As for an inter-turn event...what was that? If you mean the stone carvings, that's just a piece of colour Dorian added to his description. No game effect at all.Dorian wrote: and again, not an event, just the alliance coming out of the closetDorian wrote:No DRP simply means it has no effect in game. sure, in the story everyone knows about the stones, but in the games, makes no difference. mortal dont act any different, we dont suddenly get followers or nothing. its all background colour.Montresor wrote: I expect to get no in-game benefit from that at all. ... If Xar thinks the carvings warrant DRP expenditure, we can do one of two things - spend DRP, or simply edit the description.
What is important here is the message itself, not the medium.Balon wrote: ... 2)the post was supposed to go into the story forum, so my bad.It has no real effect on the World At Large, it's just fluff.
Other's from P2 can relate similar (and more impactful) activities that flowed from game thread dialogue and stories.AllFather wrote:A group of your followers, having heard your mythology, have decided that, rather than following your way, they'll worship the AllFather of which your scriptures speak, considering him to be the true creator and master of Eiran. They build shrines to him and worship him openly.
