Thanks, y'all. We had a good time. Nice dinner and drinks out, then saw a movie and went home (we had an interview this morning scheduled for us to arrive at 6:10am!).
Life is good!

If I recall correctly, Doc and his wife are performers of some sort. I never heard of an audition at 6:10 am, but I do know performers perform whenever to get the gig, nu?

Since they're San Franciscans, if it's a Phone interview with someone on the East Coast, it sounds perfectly reasonable, since that would be 9:10 East Coast time

We have a winner!
The local (Laredo, TX) NBC station gave us 3 minutes to plug the performances we are doing this week. It seems to have worked! Last night (a Tuesday where we expected 22 people and crickets) ended up with a great crowd, a good-sized house, and tons of kids coming to get their picture taken with the King and Queen...
