Sarge, if you had ever in your life worn an actual garter belt, you would *never* have posted that photo. They are uncomfortable as hell!
Pantyhose aren't much better -- they bind you at the waist. And nylons, of any sort, run as soon as you look at them.

Well, I almost always wear skirts to work. . . but I only wear hose under duress.
Unfortunately I work for the corporate division of the hospital, and they require both corporate dress, including hose for women wearing skirts. During my first week at work, I was asked not to wear a certain dress to work again, as it was "distracting." It was just slightly above my knees.
At my old job I'd wear sandals and casual skirts bare-legged until it got so cold I couldn't anymore.
I'm hoping that my next job will be business casual dress. Not that I'm counting down the weeks or anything. . .

can't say i have worn garters. have worn a dress at least twice. a wig once. make up more times than that.
