She has my taste in drinks, as well. Real ale (in pints, despite being both dainty and feminine), gin, wine.

Pish and nonsense. If things seem to be going well, they're actually going badly; similarly, if I seem to have cocked everything up, it's probably all fine. I've been observing this phenomenon in exams, job interviews, driving tests, and all sorts of other situations for close to fifteen years. There's rarely any deviation from the pattern. Good feeling = bad. Bad feeling = good.

..Jr..you must take the next step in dealing with your psykik abilities. You need to acquiesce or at at least open your perception to " Timing". Its one thing to " see" before it happens but to understand that ,,on the other side of what is " seen", may be a reality that is above the polarized and conflicted state you so talentedly know. Take your ability to the next level is my advice.

Simply repeating the past,,is Not creating a future. IMHO..a Hope with a lot of Love is the Only way to create a future, otherwise one simply repeats the past. Challenge your visionary abilities to rise above the polarized, conflicted state.

I suppose several phone calls to your date between the time you asked her out and time of the date may have interceded in the events of her life, that the hang over may not have ever happened or at least been the source of an excuse. Who Knows? I don't..My point being,,create your future,,rather than being the victim of it.

You speak some sense there, but I'm really not sure how to go about rising above it to create a more positive reality. I try to use music for that purpose, on the basis that maybe music that makes me feel optimistic, energetic and in control might help me reflect those feelings into my life. It's never worked so far. :P

..is it your music or somebody else's music? Music created by
You is You..is Your life. Music created by some one else ,,no matter how " good" is still one step separated from You. May be Music isn't working cuz its not your real talent? Only you know what you are talented at..pyschic? yes?

Creating a future is like exploring a new cave. There are cracks , that no matter how hard you try,,you just aren't going to wiggle or squeeze thru and there are other cracks, openings,,all in the dark there, that you can struggle and stretch thru and find a vast cavern on the other side. There is a " feel" to it,,kinda like your " psychic abilities" where " timing" as well as " spacing" lets you know the path that is open. Pursuing your Talent (s) is the first step into the cave. We are all spelunkers, but not everyone goes into the cave.

Speakin of caves..mine needs a bit of cleaning up which all of this mornings pontificating seems to continually put off. Noon approaches and I must get some things accomplished.Just know.. If it doesn't Work..then its not You, so let it go and try,,try..something else.

I'm not sure if I'd say psychic. I have been accused of psychicness several times, but that's another story. It could well be that I just spot patterns. I'm supposedly meant to be good at that.

Anyway, the game is afoot, as Holmes allegedly exclaimed. Forty minutes to go. Wish me luck.

Patterns are always in a certain frame of reference, and oft times you can sabotage yourself with your attitude. This frame of reference also tends to throw out data that contradicts the patterns you've seen. For example, I might see a pattern of people avoiding me unless I initiate contact. I may conclude that people seem to not like me as a result, and ignore that I tend to scowl and growl at anyone who approaches me :P

So *that's* why you were scowling when we met you at WFC! KIDDING!

A good day here. Had brunch with friends, didn't break the bank at the local synagogue's annual book sale, successfully ran several errands. *And* tomorrow's a holiday. Looking forward to a restful evening....

I forgot to address this question. I have the musical aptitude of a comatose yak. All music is someone else's.

I am amused by this sentence. :)

I spent the afternoon teaching my great-aunt how to crochet. It was a pleasant and relaxing experience, for me at least.

Good thing I didn't have to go anywhere today. About six inches of snow fell during the day today. So I spent it watching BBC America run about 10 hours straight of The Tudors up until the axe fell on Anne Boleyn.

Today was crazy. I drove through a snowstorm to donate blood one last time before I move to Korea on Friday. This morning, I thought I'd be leaving on Wednesday, but I'm not going to have my visa in time for that, so it was a bit hectic getting things rearranged.
Now to decide what to pack...

Have a great time, Owlie! And remember, we're as close as the closest intarwebz. :)

Spent the afternoon at a friend's house, knitting, while she and another friend worked on quilts. Came home and made chili for supper. Now it's crapping outside (that's the vernacular; the technical term is "wintry mix") and I'm hoping whatever freezing rain we get overnight will melt by the time I have to slide down the hill to the bus stop in the morning. I hate freezing rain.
