Just played the demo of Shadow of the Colossus. It looks to be a damn fine game. I'll be snatching this one on opening day.

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. Having realised this is the only game in the series I haven't finished, I'm on a mission.

Even though I haven't been able to play much until recently (because of school), my #1 game right now is The Sims 2

Civ 4 on the PC

Thrashing my roommates at pro evo soccer 2 (we'll have to get a newer one at some point) and the occasional bit of various other games that I play with old buddies from school at late nights on weekends.

Been feverishly playing Planescape: Torment. Most engrossing story I've ever encountered in a video game. Same goes for the intelligent dialogue and the characterizations. Must beat this game and see the ending. Must!

Yes yes and yes. Give Natural Selection a try, too, if you have Half-Life. It takes some time to get into, but I found it incredibly rewarding. Along with Team Fortress Classic, it's my favorite mod evah.

Been playing an oldish one, Operation Flashpoint which I'm really enjoying. 1st/3rd person battle/tactical sim, one of the most realistic and open ended ones I've played. Graphics aren't exactly great, especially the player models (bit blocky), and the squad command interface is a bit of a pain, but otherwise, damned good. Designed by a bunch of ex-Czech army guys apparently.

No health/armour power-ups here...if you get shot, you pretty much die. Unless you get shot in the legs, in which case you have to crawl, or in the arm, in which case you can't aim properly. If you get shot in the head, you're dead before you even hear the sound of the shot.

The new one is due for release soon, 3 theatres, can't wait. :D

Operation Flashpoint is one of my all time favourite games. That mission where you are stranded in Russian-held land is great, so much fun trying to escape the Spetsnatz, T-80s. The principle villain had a great nickname, too: 'The Dentist'.

Have been playing Ufo Aftermath, Civilisation IV and The Movies.

I've started playing Civ3 again (I doubt Civ4 would work on my computer, with the new graphics). After all this time I still can't work out how the enemy can be more advanced, have more cities, and still be churning out hundreds of army units.

Path of Neo. The kung fu bits are quite fun, but the rest of it is a bit pants.

Beat F.E.A.R. a while back. Awesome game, will replay it at least twice. Nearing completion of Call of Duty 2. Civilization IV is a perpetual mainstay, as is Half-Life/Half-Life 2 and its multitudinous mods (Team Fortress Classic and Natural Selection are my ambrosia). Still need to beat Planescape: Torment. I'm getting close.

But I must admit: I bring shame upon my noble household, for I have beaten not beaten Chrono Trigger. Will try to beat it this summer. For now, too much to do!

Must buy F.E.A.R soon.
