We must get them up into the album before they are lost, lost!
I put a bunch of stuff in The Laborium yesterday. I'll try to fix the links in the earlier posts when I get a bit of time. Sorry it took so long. :)

I saw it!

I didn't want to jynx it by mentioning it, because you seem to be in progress, and you've been busy, and I've pestered you enough, etc. etc.

Am I mistaken, or are some of these new? I don't remember seeing Sun of Rain before.

They're not new, but I haven't posted some of them before. And there are others floating around on my drive that I haven't posted because I feel shy and lame. :D

You gotta albumize the rest sometime, because the links you used in this thread don't work anymore, they all turn up "unauthorized error". :grovel:

Yeah, I had the previous links up at livejournal, but when my account reverted to Basic the gallery went poof.

I put the TCTC stuff back up at the Laborium here at KW, though:

I could have sworn that there was more. There was another forestal. There was one page of the Sandhold. Any chance there's more?

Can we add The Chart? The tribute comic? The Creator?

(Yes, I am crazy.)

I'll check -- I would have to scan the tribute comic, I think, hm. I'll look around for the rest.

I think Jenn might have the only access to the chart, though? I don't think I made a copy. I'll ask her.

EDIT: Or, uh, I could just use the links you so helpfully provided. *blush*

I drew this in '93 and gave it to my parents as a Christmas gift. It fell off the wall the other day, breaking the frame and glass. I'm the designated picture fixer, so I figured I'd scan it for myself while I have it at home replacing the frame. It's my oldest son, BTW. I've only drawn 2 babies in my life; I doubt I'll ever see the other one again, though, as it was the first daughter of friends of mine who I haven't seen in 15 years.

After seeing some of the terrific artwork in this topic, I'm kinda loathe to add
mine, which is pretty crappy in comparison. As you can see, I'm a much better
letterer than I am an illustrator. :D

Here's my Midnight Clown character, whose name was inspired by an
essay Forrest J. Ackerman of Famous Monsters of Filmland fame wrote
on how mundane things out of their normal context can generate horror.
Not that my guy is meant to be frightening - I just liked the name and
stole it from Forry.

I never got beyond this first installment. Haven't really drawn at all since then (1990).
As I'm sure all the artists out there know, basic talent never goes away, but technique
goes right out the window without practice, practice, practice. I'm forever saying I'm
going to get back into this, but I never do.

I did this before Hollywood did it 100 times - and 100 times better (Hollywood is who I mean did it better, not me.).

Also: sorry about stretching the page. :paranoid:

Thanks, Lorin.

To tell the truth, I think it was done to death in comics too, long before I came along.

Another old drawing of mine turned up. A girl I dated had the 'Surfing with the Alien' poster and I think I asked her for it, and she said she'd give me it if I drew her another Silver Surfer to replace it. Anyway, she found my facebook page and sent me a scan of it. Until I saw this, I had no memory of it at all.

What a crappy copy. I borrowed the original from its owner, and have scanned it:
