Had another blood test last week. Got a call from the doc's office this morning, saying he wants to see me about the results. Should I worry? I mean, they don't get you to come in unless there's something amiss, right? If it was normalised, he'd have said it over the phone...unless he's just trying to make money by an extraneous visit...

Thank you all for your kind words and support. These past few days have been very difficult, culminating with the funeral today. He was the last of what were considered the "family elders" when I was a kid. Looks like I'm one of them now....

Sad news. I would be upset, seriously if you were to leave us for some time.

Got any connections in high places, Av? What you need is a nice gov't job - the more obscure the better - that is in no danger of being eliminated. That way, you can be free to use taxpayers' money in any way you wish, including buying a fancy new computer for your home with high-speed internet service that will allow you dominate KW with your presence as never before.

If that's not possible, maybe we should think about setting up a "Home PC For Avatar" fund - though I fear we may only be able to scrounge up a system from the likes of Bob's Bargain Computers for you.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It is so hard to lose a beloevd family member.

Thanks for the support guys. It's just the connection I can't afford...got a pc (although it's in need of repair.)

Anyway, nothing certain until tomorrow, and even if it staggers on a bit longer, better believe I'll be looking hard for something.

Regardless, any absence will only be a temporary one, that I guarantee. And I'll still drop in a couple of times a month if I can. There's no way I'll abandon such a...captive...audience.

Just have to wait and see how things pan out. Will let you all know tomorrow. In the meantime...Spam! Haha, well, no more than usual I suppose.
