Help me get a real job? I need a new router. Again. Can't afford one this month, probably not next month either. So, I can either get a second job and work 16 hours a day again, or I can get a real job that actually pays the bills. Wish me luck, because I don't even know where to start looking.

Appreciate the thought - really, but my financial situation has had me extremely depressed for the last several months, and this was the last straw. I don't have any business playing games when I can barely pay my rent. So I am being responsible, which probably isn't going to leave much time for fun, but the alternative is hating myself for being a failure, and that isn't really much fun either.

Sorus if your router is messed up how are you getting online to post? Is it just messing up on wow? Could be a firewall setting since patch if so..or a port that needs opened etc maybe even firmware issue etc..

It dies on me every 3 min, but comes back up when I reset... was every 5 min earlier this week, so don't think it has much life left. Had hoped it was an issue with the phone line since it's been so windy this week, but am 99% sure it's the router.

Do you need wireless, Sorus?

If not, start checking your local garage sales / yard sales, as well as Craigslist. I found a good 100MB home switch for $5 not too long ago- it was old & ugly, but it worked just fine.

Also if you don't need to work off wireless which no one really needs wireless bypass your router and hook directly into 1 computer this will allow you to play if it keeps happening then its your modem in which case you need to contact ATT or whoever your internet is through.

Looks like I'm going back to not raiding much again. Maybe I'll get in on progression nights but it's not quite the same when you're not getting the points and drops from the other half dozen - I'm a loot whore at heart, it's just that nothing ever drops for me.
