The second side of Going for the One, which has only two songs on it, Wondrous Stories and Awaken, is my favorite one side of Yes vinyl, that I know. Up to now, the most recent Yes I had was Union. But, even with learning of the albums after 1996, I don't know of a Wondrous Stories album. Do you know anymore about it, danlo? Year of release or label maybe? I appreciate any info.

I'm wrong, you're right Wondrous Stories is, of course, on Going For the One. Open sorry, I'm a little bit preoccupied right now.

I had a friend that was so in love with Mary's Danish. I always liked this song. Actually, I think I still have this video from MTV's 120 Minutes.

While I am far from Chr-stian, this new-to-me song deeply touched me.

When the sun begins to set on the days of my life I won't cry
There'll be a spring in my step and a song in my heart
'Cause I know I'm gonna fly

My broken wings have been mended
Your love lifts me to the sky
My broken dreams have been resurrected
You know I'm so glad to be alive
You know I'm so glad to be alive since I found You,

Since I found You
My whole world is changed since I found You
Since I met You I’ll never be the same
Soon the time is coming when the world stops running
And we’ll see You face to face

When your children come in praise for all you’ve done
When you shed your blood and took your place
Since we found You, since we found You
This whole world ain't been the same since we found You

Since we met You everything has changed
Since I found You my whole world is changed, Jesus
Since I found You
Since I met You I’ll never be the same

When the sun begins to set on the days of my life I won't cry
There'll be a spring in my step and a song in my heart
'Cause I know I'm gonna fly

Lord, please don't let me be some kind of rock n' roll star
With a big fat head and a loud guitar
I just want to love You,
I just want to give You my praise for the rest of my days

When the sun begins to set on the days of my life I won't cry
There'll be a spring in my step and a song in my heart
'Cause I know I'm gonna fly

I guess, if I disregard the specifically chr-stian aspects, I can relate it to my own relationship with The All and even in regard to those I love who make my life worth living...

The Tain by The Horslips arrived today, all the way from the US of A at last. A band I've loved since I was 8 years old, I have 5 cds, 4 vinyl albums, and yet neve got round to this, apparently their 'classic' album. It just didn't seem destined to be. Even when I bought it in the summer on ebay, the company went bust before I got it, and I had to fight through paypal to get my money back (which worked by the way).

As the man on youtube says, here is possibly the greatest song by an Irish band, ever! How seventies do they look??? :D That guy on the left has definitely stolen his sister's jumper and necklace!

(make sure it's on LOUD!)
