Monday went back to the doctor who went over my blood work with me. Everything looked good other than a certain type of my cholesterol was a little too low, which exercise should fix. That and my blood pressure is still too high, so more medication dammit. I didn't take anxiety drugs, but am considering. I'm just going to see if diet can take care of it all first.

Hurrah. I now have 12GB free on both partitions of my old HDD, thanks to some quick rearranging (most importantly, moving the 24GB Steam installation onto the new HDD). There is a total of ~470GB free space available in my computer now (the "500GB" drive is more like 465 in practice).

And now, I can try installing WoW. :D

the pain meds had me euphoric at work for the first six hours. they wore off and my mood grew progressively worse as my back started hurting more. now i am here. mellower. (listening to the breeders.)

Sarge, I really hope your back feels better soon. I'm lighting you a candle and sending healing vibes your way. Same for you thefirst about your foot and one for you, Cag to send you relaxing vibes to help your blood pressure and panic attacks. Do you need me to call and sing you some smooth music to relax you as an added bonus? HAHAHAHAHA! Yes, I am weird but hey, it makes me feel good and it should make y'all feel good knowing I am thinking of you and wishing you personal wellness. I'm also gonna light a general candle and hope that my happy vibes can touch everyone and bring them a smile.

Cagbro! I can't blame it on happy pills, I am just happy the natural way. I've got a good job that I love, a great dog that gets to go to work with me, many wonderful friends that I adore and I am having fun thinking of DECORATING ideas for the potential new places. I'm also extra happy for addicting Lucimay to my current obsession with smooth music (see "Yacht Rock on youtube.com). It makes me happy when she says things to me like "I'm keeping the fire." PLUS, got some more wedding planning stuff coming up for my bestest friend Julie which is fun, got a wine slamming session with Seabeejeebee aka Seareach on the near horizon, got a cute guy calling me and asking me to hang out and I got to rant to Damelon about Pantheon on the phone last night. I love those rant sessions.... AND all week I have had customers ranting about how much they love the shop and my service and I got yet ANOTHER stellar review on yelp.com and tirerack.com. Life is good. :D

It's nice to finally know someone else who lights candles for that kind of thing Jenn. And I'm glad to hear about all your good news, it's a relief lately to hear anything that's not negative. :)

Hey! Cool! I love lighting candles. It's a visible symbol of enduring prayer, see. For me it's a Catholic thing, even if I don't go to mass anymore because of conscientious objecton and my oh, er... TMI...

Uh, one more candle, near a saint's holy card, coming up.

feel better soon. *blushblush*

Welcome back, skyweir and Lorelei! :D And good wishes (and candles too!) for those in need.

I'm trying to keep a good attitude as I look for a new job. It definitely feels weird to be in limbo about work and a place to live. I did get a lead about a good job, and I will be taking my resume over tomorrow. Aside from that, I am trying to get out a little every day, and spend quality time with those that care about me--either in person, or by phone. It gives me something to look forward to. :)
