Hey Folks,
Just discovered these forums and thought i'd say Hi!. I first started reading the Covanent books in the early 80's. I guess around the time The Wounded Land was released because I can remember being left hanging waiting for the One Tree to be released. Anyhoo, I just started Fatal Revenant yesterday and looking very forward to it(although dreading being left hanging until 2010 after I finish.

Be Welcome to the Watch, skorziks. Be Welcome and True.
Florida is fairly well represented here on the Watch. "Gator Town" is my euphenism for Gainesville. Whereabouts are you in the Sunshine State?

Hey Menolly,
I'm in Jacksonville currently but I used to live near Ocala...which isn't too far from Gainsville.

Hey all! To borrow and butcher my favorite line from Madagascar, "I like you all so much, you hate them compared to me!"

Welcome Goldenboy and new Mr. Spock. Sorry, couldn't resist, big Star Trek fan here. The members of this forum are some of the most intelligent people on the planet. If it's in the TC books, they know all about it. If you like these books, Mr. Donaldson has his own web site; there is a link to it on the home page of this site. He does a question and answer thing each month called the Gradual Interview. You can learn a lot about how Mr. Donaldson thinks and what he meant by stuff in there. It's way cool. I think the GI (Gradual Interview) link is in the "From the Author" section, but it's been a while since I looked. Welcome and have fun!!!!

Hi, I am basically on this chat forum or whatever you refer to it as (I mean no disrespect but my technological vocabulary is not where it should be) because I would like TO CONGRATULATE Mr. DONALDSON on his latest success. I loved every word and would like to extend a personal thank you and I can't seem to be able to do so. I don't really like to pick things apart, we did that in my Tolkien class and I hated every minute of it. I also do not like to go down on someone for writing something amazing, although I might consider a hug and kiss.
So I guess what I would like to say is how might I ever be able to say to Mr. Donaldson, "Mr. Donaldson, thank you. You're the reason why I am writing, and why I'm reading. And one of the first things that comes to mind when I am thinking about the idea of last wishes, one of the earliest thoughts would be spending a lot of effort trying to find out personally how it all ends. I love your work, I love Thomas and Linden, and if it weren't for them, and your very strong and humbling vocabulary I would not be who I am" ?
Can anyone help me out, and who wants to discuss some Chronicles?

Be welcome to the Watch, Benj.
If you have a question you wish to ask SRD, you could always say all that along with your question on the GI on SRD's site.

As far as discussing the Chronicles, scroll down the Index page. There are two forums, one devoted to the first two chronicles, and one devoted to the Last Chronicles. Enjoy!
