Life's Most Embarrassing Moments
1. Messing up the Star-Spangled Banner in front of 500 people.
2. Nonchalantly flicking the ash off your cigartette while in mid-conversation and having the cherry land in your lap, setting your pants on fire.
3. Accidentally pushing the "eject" button while Q, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was trying to explain all the gizmos yout new Astin-Martin has.
4. Going up to the science teacher in 10th grade to ask if I could get a pass to go to the bathroom and before I could speak I puked all over his desk with 30 of my fellow students watching in horror.
5. Being the Matron of Honor in my best friend's wedding and while walking up the aisle of the church, walking completely out of my shoes and saying "Shit" rather loudly.
6. Catching the pocket of my suave acid washed jeans on the corner of a desk and having them rip all the way across t he right butt cheek and on down the leg to my knee. Oh, MY GOD!!!!!
7. Closing your rat-tail in your locker.
8. Working a Renaissance Festival and shouting a wise-crack to a patron,
drawing everyone's attention to that person's error,
only to have a co-worker hit me and say:
"Stop that! Don't you know who that is?!!"
It was Henry Winkler.
(I was known from then on as the guy who yelled at "The Fonz".)
I should add that I wasn't wearing my glasses then...
they were not "authentic" for that time era.
9. Turning around for a second look at the really *whew* attractive man who opened a door for me, turning my ankle on a chunk of ornamental stone, and landing on my face on the sidewalk--both elbows and both knees scraped and bleeding, and Mr. Good-looking-beyond-reasons bending over me saying, "Are you okay?"
Uh. No. Just move on and let me die here, please.
10. Getting drunk and shooting your cop brother who was chasing the criminal you were aiming at.
11. Accidentally putting the car into gear and RUNNING OVER your Driver's Ed instructor. *oops*
12. After the graduation ceremony, having your wrap sirt come untied underneath your gown, and while you're trying to fix it as discreetly as possible, having your grandmother come over and tug on the tail end of it (which was, until now, sticking out from the bottom of the gown) and asking "what's this?!" as the skirt falls out completely, right in front of your then-boyfriend's dad. Boy, I'm glad our gowns had the zip-up backs, and not the ones that are open like hospital gowns...
13. Taking a week to finish a single Baker's Dozen....
