You said it.
(All that said, if Nor does pull out of the game, (much as I hope he changes his mind), I vote we play on.)

I have to move today, so I'd appreciate a rapid ruling on this as well.
Are we postponing the moves deadline?

Yes, we are. One week (although it actually will be nine or ten days, because I won't have computer access next weekend).

Well that gives me some time to figure out how to devote DRP to PEACE related matters.
This is new territory to me.

Sorry, but I think this needs to be solved first. There are a couple of things that concern me, although I'm not at liberty to say what at the moment - but this really needs to be cleared before we continue.

No, that's fine. Just sorry that we're breaking the rythym of the game is all. I was all ready to go, and had been awaiting this turn eagerly.

I know, but if Lore doesn't return, then most you will have to likely rethink your strategies, and in any case, I want to give Lore some time so we can maybe talk about it and he can think as to whether he wants to change his mind or not.

Yeah, the problem of Nor dropping would really affect my guy. I'll need the extra time to figure out how I want to play Adomorn without Nor.

Absolutely fair enough. I hope he stays on. But more, I hope we know soonish either way...it might mean major strategy changes.
(C'mon Lore, don't give up now.)

Okay everyone, I spent the afternoon thinking about the situation, and I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that I won't be playing Nor Yekith again. I realise there's a difference between gaming and actual interaction between players - that is, characters aren't the players. That said, my main problem with what has happened is that I trusted a player, because our interactions appeared to be between players - not as Nor and 'god x'. Perhaps I misunderstood, but the result is that I feel like I've been stabbed in the back, and I
very much hate that feeling.
Second, and this is the most important factor for me, I feel that most of the pantheon has 'ganged up' on me. And for what? All because I roleplayed an evil who god who really did nothing much other than infiltrate his cult into the other religions (and steal some kids

). You know, it got to the point where I was actually annoyed to read Adomorn's justification that he had to do it despite his so-called abiding by the law. I didn't even have the chance to do much, and then I faced with a combined attack from a majority who were complaining about the system they so wanted to protect (that the Law was being abused - that I was being placed in a minority with no protection). Anyway, it gets to the point where I was being placed too much in the lime-light, the focus of too many comments, all because I'm supposed to be roleplaying some 'great villain' (a rather cliche and uninspired one, I might add).
Third, the game is stressing me out. This betrayal cut deep, so it's no longer fun. Nor really just exists, in my opinion, to be the punching bag for those who want to play the heroes for the day. That's not fun for me.
Anyway, I appreciate your nice comments, but you all know me as the individual who gets hurt too easily and runs off to 'have a cry'. The game is better without me misinterpreting things.

Sorry to hear it man. You'll be missed in the game. *bows*

Lore, about your second and "most important" factor there.... isn't that exactly what you were expecting? It seems to me you played up to that image, encouraged it. To point out people seeing Nor as a villain and ganging up as something you didn't like seems a bit unfair, when you've always tried to make Nor seem like that villain.
(Then again, I can easily see myself getting the same way when my blatantly evil character is turned against in the next game...)
...I hate when this sort of thing is going on. I always get paranoid and start wondering if it's about me. Like the way I panicked when the Queeaqueg thing blew up.

That's why I'm trying to think of ways in which the game can be a little more equilibrated... in this game, like in the last one, eventually there was a single evil god and all the rest were either good gods or neutral gods who aligned with good; I can easily understand the player of the evil deity feeling ganged up, so to speak. I'm thinking of ways to ensure that if few players make evil deities next time, they are not penalized by it.

I don't see any way of avoiding it. And I don't think it's "penalisation" either really.
As Murrin said, (and as Lore himself has said), if you play a villian bent on world domination, you have to expect the people who don't want to be dominated to gang up on you. Just like multiple "evil" deities could gang up on the "good" ones. *shrug*

I'll miss you Lore, although it will be mush easier to play neutral without you.

You will be missed Lore ... your evil was SUPREME. It is to YOUR credit that the threat you had Nor generate united a fairly contentious bunch!

That deserves recognition and appplause.
Perhaps you can think about it this way ... let Nor go to his end as he started ... arrogant head held high! And then show us that your
new GOOD deity is better played than other goodies!
