Pink Floyd - The Wall
Watched some footage from their 1994 Dark Side Live concert on PBS this weekend and made me nostalgic.

Just wanted to let people know, went to pick up U2's new album and luckily for me iTunes brought up the Deluxe version, with an hour video included for about $18. Wasn't gonna pay that price, the regular version it turns out is $9.99, but I went looking and found the regular version (no bonus tracks of videos) on Amazon's MP3 site for only $3.99.

FYI,

I haven't listened to The Wall for yonks! Must do!

But I'm at the moment listening to U2. Didn't like many of the songs the first play through but I've warmed to several of them now. Not a album. :D

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. That's been my impression on first listen, but I'll give it a few more spins too before I make up my mind.

the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

Pah, those are great songs in their own right, but sometimes you just need to fly with an old faithful speed rag: Surfing with the Alien :R

Two great albums.
