Looking forward to some relaxing this weekend. Last weekend, I made two round trips to Allentown, PA (about 3.5 hours one-way), so that MagickMaker could do a college trip and I could still make it to Czech class. This weekend, her spring break starts. I'll be driving her back and forth to some stuff, but all local events, thank goodness. I think Sunday we're shopping for prom dresses. And on Monday, I get to drive her to Roanoke (4 hours one-way) for another college visit -- and to add to the fun, her dad is joining us.

We have just one more Czech class after this Saturday, though, so the weekend trips to Baltimore will slack off after that. Phew.

So, I need some space. I'm kinda hoping that my partner can do some things with SoS--get him out of the house. Horrible thing to say, but true.

Not a horrible thing to say.....kids have twice the energy as parents, which is why they're supposed to have two.

This is going to be the Best Weekend Ever.

For the last 129 days, my STBX has denied me overnight visitation with my daughter. In 45 minutes, I'm going to pick up Cailette for the weekend...The whole weekend. I don't have to watch the clock, I don't have to plan anything around getting her back at a certain time.

This is going to be great!

Yeah, yeah, I know..I just blew my rep here. Underneath the diatribes in the Tank, my rants in Vespers about David Gilmour, and my filthy sense of humor, there's a softie that loves his daughter to death.

And I couldn't be happier about it.

YAY CAIL! I am super duper extra whammy happy for you guys! Got anything special planned activity wise?

I am spending the weekend tying up the final moving stuff and then a walkthrough with the landlord. Sometime in there I will find time to go visit my friend Jenny in the hospital. I also plan to have some much needed down time in the evenings and will make time to watch Serenity since I just finished the Firefly series last night. Damn you FOX, why oh why oh why why why would you cancel that show! (Sorry, been ranting like that since the first episode!)

Tonight the group that went on the cruise together is exchanging photo CD's. Once I have all the CD's I will set up an album on Snapfish for those that are interested.

Tomorrow I finally get my french doors in the basement!!!! I will dance with joy as soon as they are installed!!

For my part, My Mother-in-Law & Sister-In-Law are in town going to a bay shower for one of my wife's cousins... I have a comprehensive planning meeting tomorrow morning at city hall and my brother is coming over for a while...maybe tomorrow as well. That's about all.

Taking the cat to the vet for her yearly visit in about 10 minutes. Tonight I'm going with a couple of friends to a minor league hockey game. As for the rest of the weekend, it's a play it by ear situation.

Awesome, Cail! Soak up every precious minute with your little angel. :D

I've had very litle sleep all week, so I plan on going to bed here in a few minutes and sleeping for 9-10 hours. Then I need to unpack boxes of books, and sort a few baskets of clothes to see which ones I want to keep. My goal is to rid myself of boxes in my bedroom by tomorrow evening. Somewhere along the way I need to run out and get money at the ATM to pay rent, since I have misplaced my checkbook--I only write checks once in a blue moon usually. Anyhow, I'm pretty sure that it's still at my old place in a miscellaneous box or something stupid like that.

The rest of the weekend entails taking it kinda easy, and doing several loads of laundry. Woohoo. . . the domestic life! ;)

Today we're heading to Fort Lauderdale for Passover and Beorn's Spring Break. If all goes well, we'll dine tonight at Emerald Coast Buffet Menu. If we go too late, we'll eat there tomorrow night. It's one of our favorites in south Florida, and we'll have one last splurge before Passover!

The layout of the buffet is quite nice. The website home page has some photos towards the bottom.

I had a fabulous weekend, taking my squishy bub nephew to a Medieval Fayre (yes, I was "Aunty Elfie" in her pretty green elf dress & LOTR fellowship cape, with all the relevant jewelly bits!) and he had a great time watching armoured knights battling together with swords, and a funny little dragon who made him giggle and dance! And to cap the day, we went to the museum to see his beloved dinosaur bones...I got to spend quality time with my favorite boy!

I was meant to be visiting Mr Revan this coming weekend, but he hasn't responded to my recent communications, so I don't know if it's still on. I'll have to assume not. Grrr.

Long weekend here...and I have nothing really planned. Seasis is coming to visit tomorrow (staying overnight). Other than that, I suppose I'll do exciting things like washing and cleaning the house. :P

My buddie's birthday is on Saturday, so I need to swing downton tomarrow to pick up a gift certificate to the Danger Room (our comic book hang out spot.) On Saturday we'll probably game for a bit, and then catch a flick and some pizza.

Sunday? No idea. Mabye catch another flick at the Cinema.

Long weekend almost over.

We were busy as all Hell.

We switched the boys bedrooms around..put the older boys in the bigger room (the one that was our before we moved to the dinning room) and put the baby in their old room.

Friday I refloored the two bedrooms with some laminate; while Lisa Primed and painted them...that took most of the day.
Saturday I was going to refloor the hallway, and the woodstove room..unfortunatly, everyone other than Me came down with a stomach flu...now the hallway is half-way done, and the fire-room is piled with garbage and empty boxes, and full boxes of clothes and toys.
Would have got things done today..but thatnks to a freak storm, I've spent my morning shoveling snow...We missed one of my Neices BAptisms and an Easter egg hunt and Easter dinner at the inlaws..but everyone is fine now...when the baby gets up from his nap; I'll start the floor again.
