Of course, this brings up the question, "What happens to a Forestal when it dies?"
What
does happen to a Forestal when it dies?
More specifically, what happened to Caerrol Wildwood, Forestal of Garroting Deep, when he died?
Hadn't the New Lores pretty much made a forest of the Land again? Wouldn't that have bolstered the intelligence of the one forest? Would Wildwood's mind then have never actually been destroyed when he 'died,' but would have subsumed back into the mind of the Forest?

I wouldn't have said it if I thought it would hurt your feelings.

I don't agree. But then again, I vastly enjoyed my work in the mental health field--in which we talked about feelings a awful lot.
What can be annoying to me is when a person claims to have no emotions. . . but then everything coming out of his/her mouth is some form of anger.

If they want to do it, it's not my business, but I have a hard time understanding why someone would want to reveal their marital problems and other such nonsense on TV in front of a national audience.

criminals. i hate them. did the warrant round up today. phoning people to get them to come in and take care of outstanding arrest warrants. listening to lies, the stories, the fabrications these people come up with.

Back to pronunciation issues, today I heard a radio announcer say Tan-ZANEY-uh for Tanzania.
It's Tan-za-NEE-ya.

People who make appointments for something, then don't show up, and don't call to cancel. And when the same people do it repeatedly.... grrrr. I totally understand that sometimes sh*t happens and you can't make it to an appointment. But, over and over again? And obviously the phone works, 'cause they're able to continue to call in to make
new appointments, but the phone doesn't work to let them cancel? Grrr. (Not that anything like this is happening to me right now, or anything....

I've got a heap of flaky friends that pull this crap quite a bit. They tend to call but way after I've gotten myself excited to see them and have been looking forward to it for several days. In fact, I have a friend that just emailed me that I've been having this game with lately. We are planning on getting together and eating something. The first time, it snowed pretty nastily, so I didn't have a problem with them cancelling, and in fact insisted that they don't bother. That was back in December. Since then it has been a constant barrage of "how about this weekend?"
Might be scheduling again for Sunday.

No. . . I live here and it is pronounced mi-zoor-ee. My grandfather, who lived in Indiana, always loved to say "misery."
And Caggie, I hate it when I've been planning on something and then people cancel for no good reason.
