Ok, sticking to topic...what was the social outcome of the discovery of the Amnion? :D

I was thinking more of societies reaction to it...

A rather fragmented human society united under threat of outside attack. Ancillary documentation or a section on the criminal gang who raped angus's mother (maybe both, I can't remember which) mentions that criminals who were once loathed are at least somewhat "brought into the fold" due to a sense of increased interdependence in the face of mutation into the Amnion.

SORRY. I forgot I had given an answer. I actually request someone take up the question. I don't know where my books went but it's been years since I've read the series. I'm considering buying 'em again so I can reread.

I can probably come up with something if necessary. I'll stop in tomorrow same time and if nothing has been asked I'll reach back into the recesses of my memory. I just don't want to ask something dumb like "where did Nick get his scars?" or "who's the bill you have to pay?"

Hmmm, whaddaya say Cord Hurn? Do we force him to ask a question? Any question? :D

Okay, I'll bite this time!

New question:

Min tells Hashi three ways that she will deal ("treat") with the Amnion. Can anybody list those three ways?

If no one can guess this by the end of the week, I'll start dropping hints.

Same. Good question, though.

Okay, here are hints to how Min tells Hashi she will treat with the Amnion. One way involves how she talks to them, one way concerns how she lives up to what she says, and the third way concerns how she reacts to false dealing with her.

Pretty sure one of those was to go in and blow Enablement to dust... :D

Not quite. During the same conversation with Hashi where she reveals her three-point strategy for treating with the Amnion, she mentions "I would do exactly what I warned them I was going to do. Send in an armada, reduce Thanatos Minor to powder. And dare them to take offense." This statement relates to one of the 3 ways that Min will deal with the Amnion, though it is as an example. This conversation between Min and Hashi takes place after Warden's death.

Okay, that's enough clues for now. ;)
