Oh! no rolls for mine. Everybody in the burst heals 3hp a round for 5 rounds. It uses a turn attempt not a spell use though.

A small fire elemental comes over to me.
OK... correct me if I'm wrong, but wizards and sorcerors have familiars, Druids have animal companions, and clerics have nothing of the sort, right? So... I'm confused...

I asked the same thing of Seven via chat last night; working on how to reveal what I do know in character. Not that it isn't anything any of us shouldn't be able to figure out on our own from what we have seen so far.
As I am basically still a novice overall to DnD, I look forward to seeing how this is handled.

Thanks, kiddo.
I needed that after just reading Furls
letter to the Watch.
...and yet.

Fire elementals don't fly.
Laurel wrote:"Can a tiny fire elemental burn high and hot enough for five crematory pyres?"
Small fire elementals are 4' tall.

I suggest that we table further discussion of the distrobution of wealth until we've finished the identification spells. Until then, there's too much vagueness. Having contingency claims on items just gets silly.
So, let's assume the following structure to the next two nights:
We set up camp here in the cave. Prepare food. Feed the horses.
Sigrid prays, then identifies three items.
We all sleep.
Laurel's spells reset in the morning. She identifies five (or fewer) items, until they're all done.
The blizzard stops (hopefully).
The rest of us take the dead outside one at a time, and let Sigrid's familiar incinerate them. Will likely take about as long as Laurel's identifies.
We all reconvene in the cave and hand out the loot.
Camp another night. Wake up in the morning with all spells reset again.
Of course, feel free to do any role-playing in line with this, but it kind of seemed like we were getting stuck on the posturing for who wanted what, and I figured all that would be easy once we knew what the 'what' was.

Listen, I'm not sure how Led would feel accepting something FROM Laurel. He might give it to her all night long, but they're still a bit early in the relationship to be getting into any kinky role reversal stuff.
Though, maybe just a finger.

He needed comforting.
The sexy beast.
...and I got us to morning, did I not?

One could argue that since she was giving it to him (or taking it from him) all night long, she didn't rest much, and therefore her spells didn't refresh.

Fair enough. Apologies for that.

Thankfully, master did not take that approach.
Results from having sung the first
Song of Knowledge coming shortly.
Besides, one could counter that it all depends on how early the party actually retired the evening before and/or if
resting must involved
sleeping. Certainly a night spent comforting another could be quite
refreshing to both parties...

NOT!

heh.
All Laurel said was she
comforted Led in whatever way he would accept from her.
I left it up to one's imagination.
Our innocent farm girl
could still be quite the innocent...

Maybe so.
But it was not until the recent OOC discussion that it got wrong.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I own this. The "she started it" was more in the way of a joke, like a small child trying to dodge blame. Thus the "fair enough" at frst.

Um...
Ok, I may be remembering wrong, but I seem to remember someone saying that the blizzard would take about two days to subside. and I know we've only slept once.

The two days is from planning to have full complement of spells post-Identifying, I believe.

Yeah, it was one day for the blizzard, then a second day for the funeral rights / identification spells. We rest after that, and we're ready to roll on the third day.
* - "roll" in this case means "mount horses and ride".

Um...
Seven, since Marik did not say anything, does that mean that he was not checking for evil, or actually did not see any?
